Great news Carol.
i hope everyone else is having a good bank holiday weekend.
i went to see a bungalow this afternoon near my sons house which I really liked. So second viewing on Tuesday, and a bit of thinking to do inbetween to make sure moving is the right thing to do.
not had tea yet, but will sneak back in for a piece of cake later.
I'm in my jimjams & him indoors is doing tea,i'm having macaroni cheese & garlic bread, yum yum,i don't think i've read the article that Gillian read but i have read a lovely piece about your daughters health, well i'm presuming Carol is your daughter & if she is i know now why i sometimes call you Mummy, because that's just how you look in the photo a lovely mummy person that i'd love to get a hug from
xx
Aww, Carol, how lovely! Thank you for that compliment! Have sent you a friend request....
hugs xxx

We are now officially friends,i can see why you're so proud of your daughter,i would be too if she was mine,so brave & talented,i will be keeping an eye on her page that i found to see what she's up to,the trombone society won't let me access the magazine but i think that's because i'm on a laptop not an ipad, never mind
Hi Lynda, sounds like you may be on the move at some point & i know you'll find the perfect place when you're least expecting it,make sure the view's better than ours,7 foot fence at the back & our estate at the front,i so envy you all your lovely views
xx
Have sent you a pm, Lovely lady.......
Lynda, I hope the move is sensible and works exactly as you wish it.
Hugs to all xxx

I am a great believer in feelings. If you feel inside something is right then go for it, if you are not sure hold back. The right thing will come along. So Lynda be lead by your instincts.
Just had dinner prepared by Hubby, I am so lucky to be so well cared for. I know others are not so fortunate.
Thanks all.
the bungalow isn't overlooked at all. Not such nice views as I have here, but it looks over the rooftops of the town to the fields and hills beyond. So still nice. The main thing is that it isn't as isolated as I am here, and there are buses, plus walking distance to the train station. It's hard making these decisions on your own though. I'm taking my son with me for the second viewing as he is pretty sensible.
just had lovely cheese stuffed ravioli, with a sauce made from olives, sun dried tomatoes, capers, sultanas, pine nuts, chilli, and butter. Took all of 5 mins to cook and was delicious. I envy you having someone to cook for you, Jon used to do all the cooking so it's one thing I have had to relearn.
oh, the bungalow is near takeaways too.....right now it's an hour round trip if I fancy a takeaway, so it just doesn't happen!
So pleased you're getting the fuss & attention you deserve Gillian, him indoors is still fussing after me 4 years later & if it makes him happy it makes me happy to let him do it
xx
The bungalow sounds lovely Lynda, bus route & near a takeaway, what more could you want, very wise to take somebody sensible with you on the second viewing,we have a Chinese takeaway in our village & when they get the repairs done we will have an Indian restaurant & takeaway,it was lovely in there until a lorry driver decided to take the corner of the building out so he could park in the reception/waiting area
xx
In a hurry to collect his takeaway??
Yes, need to be sensible, and take a good look at the kitchen space before I get carried away.
i think it's too late for cake now, so will settle for chocolate.
