Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Since it's rained so much, the faeries lit the wood burner in this beautiful room this lunchtime, and the bifold doors are firmly shut. But the garden still looks amazing from inside. The sofas are all ready for anyone to sink into, and there's coffee and tea waiting for anyone who would like (plus a red wine and, I think, a white in the fridge)
The faeries have made a chocolate cake too.....

Oh Moomy, the faeries are so attentive! Thank goodness, my kitchen window is leaking like a sieve and no one can come out to repair it for another week!
I'll just sink into one of the sofas with a coffee and piece of chocolate cake please:) went to clinic this morning, all ok so treatment Friday.
Keep dry as possible, brought some fleeces in with me

Oh Moira,
That is just pants! So hope your kitchen window can easily be fixed! And just on the one visit, too!
Hope you feel comfy and settled here....and hope chemo is straightforward and doesn't make you feel too yukky.....

Thanks Moomy, the rain has stopped here and the towels used for mopping up last night have dried on the line!

Hi Paula,
Great to see someone else dropping by, lots more room on sofas, it's been a better day most of today so the woodburner hasn't been needed. Faeries are very good at keeping things ticking over!
Brought a freshly baked loaf and strawberry jam and of course butter, do help yourself! I've a bread machine which I love!

Hi all,
Time to put my feet up on one of these lovely sofas, treatment went smoothly yesterday but still hard to get out of bed and motivate myself today!
The fresh bread and jam certainly helped though Moomy!
Got washing and house work done this morning and then walked out for a cuppa and cake this afternoon, brought some lemon drizzle back with me to pop in the cupboard, help yourselves, hope you all got some sunshine today
Hugs, Moira xxx
Goodness, Moira, I thought you said it was hard getting out of bed! You've done loads for a day after treatment!
Was hoping for the skies to clear tonight to be able to sit in the warm and dark and watch the Perseid shooting stars tonight, the garden has a good view of the night sky with no light pollution, but it's cloudy! oh well..... I gather the skies were clear much further north, on the Cumbria-Yorkshire border, with virtually no light pollution there too.
Hugs to all xxx

Hi Moomy,
Well I'm paying for my over exertion at the weekend, so creeping into the room for some TLC ( tender loving care) from the faeries :(
I have noticed a pattern developing after treatment, I seem to push through the fatigue for the first couple of days and then flop!
I can't sleep so tea and toast/.banana please faeries, thank you
