It's been quiet in this lovely room lately.....

Popped in to ensure the faeries have everything under control. The wood burner is lit, the sofas are all soft and enticing, fleeces and wraps ready, the Windows are wide but shut, there are sparklers (nothing noisy!) ready for anyone intrepid enough to wrap up and get outside into the lovely garden. 

Warming soup is in the slow cooker, fresh rolls warm from the oven, baked potatoes and bangers available if you're really hungry, please do help yourselves, there's also mulled wine in the other slow cooker (great idea to use it for that, faeries!)

Mmmmm I've never felt the need for a slow cooker but I can see your point there!

Ooh how lovely Moomy,  can I add a chocolate cake, made by the faeries of course! A warm glass of mulled wine and a sparkler p!ease :)

Just found another box of sparklers......and enjoying more mulled wine, my there are a few sleepy souls tiucked under fleeces around here....

Sorry, didn't mean to wake anyone up, just came in for a warming mulled wine to take the chill off...

I've left a fresh batch of croissants and filled the coffee pot for the early risers. There's jam and freshly laid eggs for breakfast, enjoy.

That fair warms the cockles, night all

Have a choccy cake here, and some fresh strawberries and cream. Please feel free to cut a slice and have with strawberries.....

It's miserable here, north winds and drizzle. So pleased to have the wood burning stove on the go to take away that chill.
