Good morning from Hell, yes it does exist, in Northern Norway. Took a lovely photograph of a rich red sky last night, which seemed quite apt for the location.
Heading down to Oslo today, but looks like may get first touch of rain today.
I have left some fresh Norwegian Smoked Salmon, and a couple of bottles of White to go with it.
Wish you all well,
Ian
Mmmmm, thank you Ian, very tasty!
Been to celebrate the life of a lovely 89 (almost 90) year old musical chap who my hubs knew at school (he was a teacher but joined in the school's musical productions with his amazing bass voice, hubs was stage crew), I knew as a lovely deep bass who sang in my singing teacher's chamber choir, we performed a number of times together, and my son knew as his cello luthier (instrument maker). Rex had bowel cancer but was ready to go....
Quite a number of ex choir members came and his wife had chosen a piece we had sung in concert to be played for start and finish of the service, and three of his instruments were played in a string trio for two pieces. Son was the Funeral Director but also played the cello we had had made for him. If funerals can be joyous, it was just that.

Bought so many strawberries I thought I'd pop some in here with a pot of cream......daughter and I are off to Wimbledon today (hence the berries!) and then off to LA tomorrow, leaving hubs to cope, but our sons will pop in to check he's ok.
Hugs to you all xxx

Hello all, from a sleepy soul who is just st surfacing in LA! An adventurous few days, Wimbledon on Monday, when we managed to get into Centre Court by queueing for returns tickets, in time for most of the third set of Andy Murray's match. Yesterday was an early start, a 7 am taxi to Bedford to catch a train to Gatwick, then our 1pm flight to LA. Managed to have a few naps on the long flight. Dear daughter has been taking such good care of me!
Her lovely friends gave us such a welcome, and after a few hours solid sleep I am trying to adapt to LA time which is 8 hours behind.
Hugs to all xxx
