Hi, not sure if I've had all those tests, but I have had some of them; my Drs don't like giving me copies of my bloods, not sure why.
I think it was unlikely to be a thyroid storm; as I'm on levothyroxin for having low thyroid hormones; The panhypopituitarism I have, means I'm not making several of the pituitary hormones; no ACTH (so not releasing cortisole from the adrenals), low TSH (so not releaseing enough T4/T3, and low FSH and LH (so not producing any testosterone).
Currently I'm on 20 or 15 MG hydrocortisone to replace the cortisol, 75 MCG levothyroxin to replace the thyroid, and every 8 weeks an intromuscular injection of nabido (testosterone injection), to replace the testosterone.
I'm actually fairly sure I'm low on thyroid hormone still, as the hospital has a very strange idea of what constitutes 'normal' for thyroid hormone levels (I had to fight to get the levothyroxin drugs; the one set of results I did have showed my free T4 level, and TSH level shrinking over several months, and all below standard normal range, yet they wouldn't put me onto the replacement hormone until I basically had to shout at the senior Dr).
I'm also missing human growth hormone, and have recently had a all-day blood stimulation test (the glucagon stimulation test), to determine eligability to start daily injections of replacement growth hormone.
Oh, and my bloods from I think Feb or March last year showed I have penitious anemia, but they wont' treat that either for some reason. (I was on folic acid tablets for ages, but they just stoped them when my level went back to normal, and haven't measured my B vitamin or folic acid levels since way back last year).
Seriously starting to contemplating having to go private to have some control over what they're testing for and how frequently- not overly comfortable just sitting at home feeling this ill all the time, with symptoms of going into congestive heart failure as a side effect of medications, whilst the Drs ignore my telling them this (as my boxes of tablets say I have to inform them immediately).
Just self medicating with caffine and alcohol for now, and pain killers, whilst my health slowely fades more.
Hi Mark,
Helen won't blow her own trumpet, but she has researched fully too, I'd go with her suggestion of drifting over to that web site (healthunlocked.com) and asking for their help, too.
It's a pity you need to think about going privately, but I think I might do the same if I were in your shoes. Something just doesn't add up, and it's time they started looking seriously carefully about what's going awry!
Hope you can get someone's help and suggestions to sort this out for, and with you,
Hugs xxx

The is high in the sky as I write this, having risen at 01:00 GMT this morning, no I wasn't up to see it. Looks like being a rather warm day again in Finland.
Trusting you get the forecasted weather today in the UK
Regards Ian.
PS have left some very nice Danish Pasties and Croissants on the table, for all
Regards
Ian
Ian, it sounds as if you are having a fabulous time visiting so many wonderful countries.
I have put champagne and freshly squeezed orange juice there too so that you can help me celebrate the birth of my third grandchild, Welcome to Inara.
Ian, good to see you travelling, hope you enjoy Finland, being so far north it gets hard to sleep!
Lynda, I loved that photo of you with Inara, welcome to the world, little one.
Mmmmm, Bucks Fizz and croissants for breakfast, thank you both!
Hugs to you all xxx
Ps, apart from getting a holiday (with daughter) in LA, we are going to Wimbledon, too! Yay!

Good Day, from the Arctic Circle. Last night saw the a midnight Sun and today have crossed the Arctic Circle. Weather here is fine.
Have also left some Danish Ps, and some fresh Red and Blackcurrants. Help yourselves.
Well, I will remember today, not only is it another first, (my birthday) but also the day we voted out.
Sun is shining here in Lapland, another warm day, heard was rather damp in UK yesterday.
Reindeers abound all over the place, clearly they need to know the Green X Code, although they are fitted with Horns, they don't seem to emit much sound, still looking for Rudolph.
Have a nice day everyone,
Regards
Ian
PS, A coach load of French arrived at the Hotel, so I have Knobbled some for us, and some very nice Honry, help yourselves.
Happy Birthday, Ian, have a lovely day
pretty shocking otherwise, a bit of an unknown.....

Best wishes on your birthday Ian.
Searching for Rudolph could be a problem when everyone has a red nose :)
Wonder how the French are taking the exit news....
