    Hi Jasmin,

The bungalow is 1930s, and I suspect that the old pot is quite old, and was once a birdbath. It is cracked so no good as a birdbath now, but I plan to plant geraniums in it when I get back.

I have always done the tax forms for both of us, but they never make it easy. Have you claimed bereavement allowance? Not everyone realises you can get it.

Nice to have something to cuddle, both mine like to sleep on my bed. My son is feeding them for me, but I bet they will miss the cuddles.

I think gravel spreading is as bad as bark. My arm is slightly swollen tonight. My own fault as I didn't have my lymphodema sleeve on.

Lynda, it sounds like you have been busy. I hope you have a lovely holiday and come back relaxed as you will have lots of gardening when you get back.

Jasmin, lovely to hear from you. The tax forms can be daunting. Can you get advice and support from Macmillan, or your local cancer support centre. Our cancer support centre helped us put with dla.

I have had a busy week with hospitals etc. Blood test Monday, oncology Tuesday (they were cross that I hadnt had a heart scan) accupuncture Wednesday (it isn't really doing any good) and heart scan Thursday (amazing what an annoyed oncologist can do.)

Friday was lovely, nothing to do apart from washing and ironing...

Today has been nice though, out to lunch,  very nice. However it's now snowing....April??

Hope all are doing as well as can be,how is your daughter now Moomy,i do hope she's feeling better & you're less worried now, hope you have a lovely holiday Lynda & have good weather,it was horrible here on Friday & not much better yesterday but today was lovely so we had a trip to the coast & a nice little walk round,Christine my lovely lady how are you,oh Jasmin i hate filling forms in & i have one that i must get done & in the post as it's a summons for speeding,i tried to blame Vince but he was at work so it had to be me,hope all the blood tests etc bring good results Gillian

The girls are still holy horrors at times & i do believe they always will be,i think they were born possessed by the devil,at the moment all is quiet but i can see Willow eyeing Medusa up through the kitchen door, not sure what she did but poor old pud has just jumped a foot in the air & is now sat with Vince with a very cross look on his face

    love & hugs to all

    xx

  • Hello all,

Yes, it's suddenly got busier in this lovely warm room, a few people quietly dozing by the fire......

Lynda, enjoy your holiday and take care of that arm, lovely lady!

Christine, lovely to see you here again, had missed you....

Jasmin, form filling is horrid at the best of times, we need to help daughter sort out her will sometime, more of how to word things so they cannot be done wrongly.

Gillian, hope you are not doing too much......

Carol, hope you survive any onslaught your terrors decide on!

Yes, daughter is lots better thank you, still taking antibiotics (when she remembers, lol! She does remember but not that spread out as the doses should be) and still sniffly but that is her normal reaction as a three-year-old's immune system recovering from cold/cough etc. She is working tomorrow in Birmingham, staying till Wednesday then back here for a day or two till she gets back north again.

I've been working hard, gardening and housework, trying to take over so that hubs doesn't do too much to give himself too much pain. At least tomorrow will be quiet till my long evening rehearsal (concert is Saturday) with all instrumentals.

    Hugs to you all xxx

Afternoon all. Hope the concert goes ok Moomy.

Hubbys birthday, so just been out to lunch in Edale. We had a ride back up the Vale of Edale, over Mam Tor, down Winnats Pass and back along the Hope Valley. A glorious ride in the sunshine, the roof off the car. We are so lucky to be in the Peak District, especially on days like today.

Anyhow back home now and aboutnto dialyse.

Hugs and best wishes to everyone who may be feeling life of is a struggle.

Glad to hear you had an enjoyable day today. I am so envious of your car with roof off. Had to sell my Z3 when Ray was taken ill and had a reminder on my facebook page from 2013 about the first drive with the top down. So exhilarating and relaxing !

take care my lovely you are so courageous an inspiration to all.

    Love and hugs xxxx

  • Gillian, how lovely, I love that part of Derbyshire! Hope all goes well for your dialysis, you're amazing!

Christine, not long now.....looking forward to it!

Free to a good home,2 black kittens, very loving but behind the cute faces lie demons, door curtain has been down twice today, not sure who shaved their legs but my razor was in the bath & god knows how they managed that as it was under a box, angel ornament on bedroom shelf now has no wings or head, little pig in bedroom window now has no legs & it's a good job the airfreshner bottle was empty as it was upside down in the middle of the floor,oh hang on a minute i've changed my mind, they look sooooo cute all curled up sleeping, they can stay

Hope all are doing as well as you can,i'm up & down but the dreaded mammogram is looming next month & i panic from the day i get my appointment till i get the letter with result in

Well i'm fitter now that i've been in a long while, walking about 3 miles 3 times a week with the girl i work with, she wants to lose weight & i need to get fit for the colour dash so we're helping each other & have promised to keep it up when i've done & she's dropped a dress size

Moomy, how is your daughter now,i do hope she's feeling better

    Love & hugs to all

    xx

  • Carol, two words ......'oh dear'!!!!!!

But it looks as if they melted your hard heart after all, bless them!

What a mess to clean up, though, it sounds as if they reach heights kittens shouldn't reach....

will be thinking of you with the dreaded mammogram, I hate them too, but you've got far more reason........will be mentally holding your hand.

daughter got over sinusitis but has caught another cold already, or is it the same one that hasn't yet gone? Who knows? She's over the other side of the room sneezing away. But as my concert is tomorrow it's too early for her to give it to me and ruin things. I'm still taking high dose vitamin c anyway!

Hope everyone is doing ok, thinking of you all

    hugs xxx
