Hello everyone. Wednesday went as well as it could, hopefully I made all the right decisions, everyone said it was lovely so really hope so. I have emptied the study and given it one coat of paint. Mick had filled it with books which had only been read once. I am trying to find a charity shop that sells them. My neighbour has been cooking me a meal every night, making sure I am eating weather was really sunny for a couple of days but today really grey and dull. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Jasmin xx
Jasmin,
So glad everything went as expected.
You are obviously coping extremely well and I hope that continues for you.
With regards to all of your books, our cancer centre has a converted church within the grounds, which offers complementary therapies, counselling, etc. They also take book donations for sale. Maybe you have something similar in your area?
I'm glad your neighbour is taking care of you with all the cooking, I hope you are being lavished with many acts of kindness. You are being so brave.

Hi and a late pop in from me,
Been thinking about you Jasmin, and wondering how Wednesday went, so glad you are being looked after, you must have a circle of lovely folk, but what goes around comes around, so you must have been a lovely neighbour yourself.
It's been chilly and drizzly here all day, fed up with wet.....however it will help the lawn seeding we needed to do.
Mikado has one night to go, it's been a good run, last couple of nights had people who laughed at all the jokes.
Daughter missed it, she hasn't been well again, continuing gut problems so didn't make it to the show on Wednesday, she spent just last night with us and is n the late train back home.
Hugs to you all, and thanks for the hot drink, Carol (and the giggle about the kittens)

Just got in from a Frank Sinatra tribute evening in ourmcommunity hall, he was absolutely brilliant, he is the brother in law of a lady in our community. He has appeared all over the world apparently. There were quite a few people there I knew and everyone was very kind. Came home and wanted to tell Mick all about it but then remembered he isnt here so told the cats instead. They got a bit bored and took themselves off to bed. Going out for lunch tomorrow.
Hope you enjoy the train show.
Glad the Mikado is going well and hope your daughter is ok
I was eating a piece of toast this morning and Gabbie decided to jump on my lap, she landed straight in the butter jumped about 2 feet in the air and shot off shaking her legs as she went, Mick would have been rolled up I am sure I heard him laughing.
Love to all Jasmin xx
You are doing so well Jasmin, an inspiration.
i am not doing so good just now but your post made me smile. Take care my friend.
Hugs xxx
Glad you had a good night out Jasmin, I often talk to my cats now. I found myself looking at cereal in the supermarket yesterday talking out loud to myself.....good job there was no one around! Poor cat, but funny
I'm giving Lucas special nutricalm tablets to calm him down at the moment as he has been very aggressive to both me and Luna since I got him back. They are natural vitamins and hormones. The vet agrees with me that he is probably very stressed from being lost for so long. The tablets really work, he is back to cuddly Lucas again. I just hope it continues when the tablets stop.
Christine, sorry you are down at the moment. You must do what is right for you, and take the time to think that through.
I'm afraid I was down yesterday, absolutely no idea why, except that I had a very nice day the day before. My down day culminated in three glasses of wine and a takeaway curry. Not good for the diet.
Moomy, hope your daughter is feeling better.
It's a lovely sunny day again here, so I'm planning to tackle more of the garden today.
You lovely ladies are doing so well, I guess it's inevitable that you get bad days.....sending you all huge hugs.
Jasmin, that sounded so funny! Lynda, hope Lukas carries on being a cuddly soul when you ease off the tablets, poor cat...Christine, down days are rough bless you....
Well, Mikado is over, yesterday was tough as Bletchley Park was very busy from the word go, I had about an hour at home to eat, change, and rest my weary feet a touch before dashing off to be on stage for the last night. And I've slept till gone 9am today!
Daughter has been well enough to manage her recording dates for Friday Night is Music Night on the radio, and her Anton and Erin dates in York, thankfully she was just a passenger to York as the 11pm train from London would have got her home by 2am! I just hope she manages to put on the weight she has lost very soon.
Hugs to you all xxxx

Just a quick hello as i pass through on my way to bed, early night as i have an early start & long day tomorrow
Hope Lucas is soon feeling happier & can come off his tablets, must have been horrible for him being away for so long
Jasmin i did giggle at your poor cat landing in the toast, made me think of the night Medusa landed in my chips, mind you that didn't make me smile as i had to throw my tea away
Moomy, time to have a rest now & put your feet up ready for your next event
Big hugs Christine
Night night all

"Waves back".
Lucas is cuddled up on my lap now. Down to one tablet every other day next week so I will see if the pills have worked.
Moomy.....rest. You might need to look that word up in the dictionary, don't think it's one you know
