Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
I'm with Sandra, how do you know, dear Sister, about that park in Berln???
I wouldn't know, we landed to a sprinkling of the white stuff on the ground, think Berlin might have been a bit chilly for that......?
As for snow here, there's rain forecast, hope it won't, we've had too much of that this winter!
Back to 'normal' life, which for me means hectic as I start twice weekly G&S rehearsals leading up to the show week, plus I have extra rehearsals for the other choir, as I have some solo work to do. Hmmm, thought I might get a bit of a rest after the last 3weeks looking after son's dog!
Bit late in the day for coffee for me, but thank you anyway, have put a biscuit assortment in the tin, do try!

Hi Sandra,
I don't know! I actually heard our lass say 'if I have half the energy my mum has at her age....' to her bone marrow donor this weekend!
I think I just get on with it.....(mind you, I think what I used to call grey hair is now just about white!)

Agreed, moomy you do seem to have plenty of energy - Or I'm just envious I don't have as much as Once I did!
Well, after lodger finally left yesterday, started in on tidying straight away, and continued with it this morning. Matress, old desk, several full bin bags and cardboard boxes of junk now in the hallway ready for collection as soon as I can arrange it for, and the front room basically tidied and clean, and a few bags of stuff taken to charity shop. Didn't get as much as I'd liked to ahve done today though, as I had to shower early, and then went off to yoga this afternoon, which was really good.
Didn't get much done after yoga, cept cooking dinner for william and I, cleaning round kitchen etc. Oh, and did run through a load of laundry this morning too before going to yoga, now all either dried or hanging up overnight to finish drying; have to go out tomorrow to get a new ironing board.
Off tomorrow night for ten pin bowling, but not until later, so have a chance for more sorting cleaning and tidying tomorrow; once that is done can think about the actual getting the place done up stuff, probably investigating bathroom refit first, followed by the kitchen refit, before the finshing off with decorating throughout etc. Gas boiler arranged to be serviced, and repeat prescriptions put in today too.
Feeling pretty warn out tonight, so not enough energy for any more tidying at the moment... Brewing up lots of tea here, this evening mainly herbal things (pepermint at the moment)...
hope all are OK
Good morning one & all
It's absolutely chucking it down here & looks set for the day & according to the weather lady there's more to come with the possibility of snow tomorrow
Moomy you are a busy bee,you put me to shame & as for you not doing much yesterday Mark i've had to sit down with a coffee to catch my breath after reading about your day
Several years ago i went to Berlin on holiday with a friend & we decided to do all the sights & as i hate organised city tours i decided that we'd do it on foot,we sat down the night with the map & i planned the route so we saw all the sights,we set off next morning with our map in hand & the first stop was the park as the memorial tower was in there, now i have an enquiering mind so i tend to look round a lot & if something catches my attention i have to stop & have a look & believe me people playing tennis no more that 6 feet away from you certainly catch your eye, after a fit of what can only be described as childish laughter (most unseemly for 2 grown women) we were on our way
I've had some lovely news today,my oldest little person has got in at his first choice of secondary school
Right must get off to work now
Love & hugs to all

If it's any consolation it's cloudy here at the moment too. The forecast is for the sun to come out by lunchtime.
I was debating whether to go for a walk in a minute, but for now I think I will just stay curled up indoors with the paper.
I'm tempted to say NEW BALLS PLEASE, but that might be a tad too far!!!
OOPS, done it already...

Hehehehe! What are you like?!?!

Afternoon all
I have been sitting here eating the choccie bics, I have left a few for others though.
I had my acupuncture yesterday, not sure what to make of it. I am having it in an attempt to stop itching. The itching continues to drive me mad, maybe I am expecting too much after just one session.
I hope everyone else is as well as can be. Hugs to all
Hi Gillian,
I assume any creams aren't helping if the itching is that bad, that's if you are allowed any? Really sorry, it's a horrid thing. Hope the acupuncture helps, it certainly worked wonders on my back muscles to help reduce spasm.
I've just had my quota of biccies here so daren't have any more, today I had an early rehearsal and after choir, it was my monthly Lymphoma Association support group so have only just finished my very late lunch, thinking what to cook for dinner already, haha!
Hope everyone is doing ok, thinking of you all, Lynda on her holiday, Christine, Jasmin, Sandra with her knowledge of German that came in handy (and yes, I was told my pronunciation was excellent!) you Gillian, Keith, Carol and those kitties, Jakki (though she is really busy now) and Mark.
Hugs to you all xxx
