You must have all been so worried Moomy,hope he is soon well enough to come home,has the son in law stayed or did he have to fly home,weather here is horrible today,very wet & dreary hope it's better tomorrow as we're planning on going to the workhouse at Southwell for a look round,will be the only day this week we've done something on our own as all the children wanted to go out for the day with us instead of having a Christmas present & they all want to do the same for their birthdays & instead of Easter eggs they're all going bowling

Yes, it's been a worrying time, didn't get much sleep last night. They say he can fly in a few days, which is good, son in law is there too, was able to visit but with son being in such pain yesterday they looked after him in ICU and kept him sedated, so son in law was only allowed half an hour three times a day. So I don't think he got any sleep either. The insurance company have been good, will cover extra days and changed flights and all the hospital costs.

Hi all, 

Son is still going to be in hospital overnight tonight, I/V antibiotics and painkillers, they want to continue that for another 24 hours. Just hope that his hubs fetching and carrying of foods, pharmacy stuff and so on is continuing to justify him staying on too (insurance claims!) 

Hope you're all doing well.....coffee machine is on, plenty of milk, and kettle is hot for those preferring tea, croissants fresh baked by the faeries.....
