Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Sadly none of us has a crystal ball, somehow there is comfort in yaving a scan just to check.
It is nice to hear from you Jasmin,
I will have a virtual prossecco with you Lynda in celebration
She's a breath of fresh air & always makes me smile, she's just fallen over & was laying on the floor & said i'm ok,don't worry
I was the same Lynda,i went to the doctor with a pain under my right arm which was a pulled muscle, which i did moving a washing machine & because i'd had to cancel my mamagram gp sent me to breast clinic & it showed a lump in my left breast & the rest,as they say,is history
xx
I go on the 31st October, so I'm away for our wedding anniversary, jons birthday and my birthday. Come back on the 26th.
Mine was picked up on my first mammogram when I reached 50. It's scary isn't it.
I wasn't. 50 so mine was first picked up when I had a scan for parathyroidism. They couldn't find the parathyroid but they did find something suspicious. I was sent to the breast clinic and as you say...
Ive had breast cysts a lot, so am used to having mammograms and biopsies, also ops in the days when they removed the cysts, so have scar tissue too.
But I do always go for my mammograms.
Breakfast time, the coffee machine is on so help yourselves to fresh bean to cup coffee, there are croissants, butter and home made marmalade and jam too.....
Good to hear Mick is a little better, Jasmin.....
Hugs to you all......xxx

Good evening & what a horrible one it is here, very windy & wet, hope all are safe, warm & as well as can be
Well how i wish i'd had a camera running when Medusa fell in the bath & the bubbles from my nice long soak where still in there, her face was priceless & even with a poorly leg she was out of it very quickly,we now give the girls the run of the house durring the day while we're out (to be honest it's easier than trying to get them all in the bathroom) & so far they've not done any damage,Vince thinks they sleep all day but i'm not so sure as the T.V aeriel was out today when we got home so i'm pretty sure one has been behind there
I've put some chocolate brownies on the side & clotted cream in the fridge,do help yourselves,my friends mum made them & they're so yummy
Nice quiet evening for me as Vince is out with his mate so it's chocolate biscuits & a book for me
xx
Thanks for the choccs, I am not allowed chocolate (high in potassium) but I am sure virtual brownies wll be great.
I laughed out loud at the thought of medusa covered in bubbles, it serves her right for being inquisitive.
It is a grotty evening here, the forecasters cant make up their minds whether we are expecting snow or not. We shall just have to see what happens.
best wishes to everyone, enjoy your weekends
She's the one that's always in mischief but has such an innocent look about her you forgive her anything, all three girls are fast asleep at the minute but i bet if i go in the kitchen to make a cuppa they'll all be sat outside the door waiting for me when i come out again
xx
Gillian, imagining those brownies will be good, virtual foods and wines in here can never do you any harm!
Carol, I had to giggle at that mental picture of a kitten finding itself in bubble bath! Hahahaha!
Hope you are all ok, it's raining here - again! We had a couple of dry days and on the second I took the dog for a more muddy walk, it's a favourite of mine, or was, till nearby builders have begun to ruin it with using access. He was so funny when we got home, I tried to wash each paw in a bowl of warm water, he simply refused, so I ended up wetting paper towel and doing it that way, rinsing the towel between each one. Maybe I should have popped him in bubble bath ?!?!?!?
Dog won't be going home just yet, a few days more I think, son has needed some ear surgery while in India, they were due to fly home tomorrow, he got a really bad middle ear infection so has had a drain hole in ear drum and is sleeping off the anaesthetic, son in law says. Surgeon was pleased with him.....just as well, as of course he's a musician as well as daughter! The pain level was so bad he was sedated in ICU. We've been rather worried......thank goodness for modern communication!
Hugs (and a bottle of bubbly to celebrate son begin getting better) to you all xxxxx
