It's a lovely sunny day here today, so,  my grandson and I hung the washing out... don't suppose it will dry, but at least it will smell nice and fresh.

It's amazing how much more washing a 3 year old can create.  He stayed with us last night, to let his mummy go into work early.  He is such good company, when he's not in a mood!!!

She sounds like a real bright bunny your mate. They are so wonderfully innocent at that age, oh that we could stay that way.

  • Oh bless the little ones, wish that magic wouldn't leave them....l

Well the weather has changed - we are forecast snow for the weekend but they keep changing their minds so who knows. We have our nephew and his girlfriend coming to stay so hopefully they will get here.

I am unbelievably well having finished treatment, apart from an unbearable itch which is driving me crazy. I have been on tablets and creams galore and still the itch is getting worse. I mentioned this to the medics and they sent us to the Cavendish Cancer Care Centre in Sheffield which gives support to Cancer Patients. I went to see them and they have suggested acupuncture. I can have 4 sessions to see how it goes and if it can make a difference to my itch. Nothing ventured nothing gained, so I have made an appointment. Has anyone on here had acupuncture? if so how did it go if you don't mind me asking?

  • Hi Everyone,

Gillian, yes I've had acupuncture once for back spasm, it helped lots.

The weather really has changed here, I took the dog out, ears down, tail down, all wrapped up in his coat, he simply didn't want to go far, it's been wet and chilly here all day.

Carol, enjoy that cake and tea with your little one, funny she doesn't like pizza...

We've been teaching the dog how to play a bit, apparently he was kept as a stud dog before being abandoned and rescued, so simply has little idea how to play, bless him.

They return from holiday on Sunday, will collect dog either that day or the following. Phew, freedom!

    Hugs to you all xxx

Hi all, Gillian I haven't personally, but my friend did for back pain for several years and it really worked for her. I got back from my trip to see the new baby to a letter saying my annual mammogram was clear. So that's me clear for 4 years now. Prosecco in the fridge with some strawberries. Now I have a manic couple of days before shooting off to Fuerteventura.
