Hello everyone,

the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx

  • Wow, a good Sunday then, Carol? Enjoy nanny duty

Kitten form of ADHD made me giggle, but I guess anything is possible!

Just back from a good two mile walk with dog, again like yesterday he was good and didn't pull too much, not easy to stop terriers pulling, they are sturdy little dogs with minds of their own, but he was fine both days. Bless him, he really snuggles up against us, me preferably, only cos I walk and feed him, hubs if I'm busy ( or he sneakily sits on the place I was, with ears down when he's been spotted, a silly half guilty look on his face!)

Daughter will be coming tomorrow sometime, she has a recording session again out east near Peterborough, then will spend the next few days with us (and has promised to help with walkies)

    Hugs to all xxx

  • Doggy sitting when you have to drive your hubs to a dentist (he's so afraid he has to take something before he goes!) was interesting! Dog was fascinated with a new place to walk and sniff, but he hates the rain, as it began while hubs was still in the dentist, we sat in the car for a while......said dog is a 'people' dog and was fascinated people-watching!

Now home again.......hoping storm Imogen will leave us a window for walkies! He is very content with us, we never leave him without one of us with him...

Hope you are all doing ok....

No wonder the dog is happy,  you are spoiling him.

I hope your Hubby is ok

  • Haha, Gillian, we are firm when needed..... Hubs just had a check up fortunately!

We had a wet and windy walk this afternoon, fortunately not far! Really hope the weather improves, it's been one storm after another recently!

    Hello all,

It sounds as if the worst of the weather has been down South this time. We've had heavy rain, but the wind isn't too bad.

Been an eventful day here today. One daughter in law and son have been given the date for her Caesarian.....next Monday. So now I'm off down south for a few days Sunday, throwing in a quick visit to Jons mum, and seeing some friends plus meeting my new grandson (and the existing one of course).

The other daughter in law and son have had their second scan and found out they are expecting a girl.

Now I know what I am doing I have also booked a holiday. I'm off to Fuerteventura (on my own) on the 20th for two weeks. I just hope the sun shines, I'm  fed up with all this rain.

Hoping everyone is ok today, no fences down or worse.

Jasmin, sending you a big hug. Hope your weekend has been ok.

Hello everyone, we have had the worst of the weather this time I think, very, very windy and non stop terential rain since early yesterday, moving away now though.

How lovely for you Lynda, hope the visits go well and your new grandson arrives safely.  Good on you for booking holiday, the holiday brochures are coming through the door thick and fast.   Thanks for the hug, greatfully received.

Love and best wishes to all xx.

  • Hi Lynda, what lovely news for you! Lots to look forward to!

That wind was pretty bad, it was so funny when dog cocked his leg first thing this morning, he almost got blown over it was so blowy! Had to laugh at him! It is calmer now, thank goodness, but it really has been bad today. The river Great Ouse is flooded again near us, too.

I saw a short video on film from Wales on the news, shot from the second floor of a building looking out to sea, the spray from the waves was above the window level!

Hope you are all safe and have no damage......trouble is, I think they have already named the next storm. It seems to be very nearly constant!

    Hugs xxx

It's flipping horrible here, very wet & very windy, hate the wind

How exciting Lynda, two new grandchildren, hope all goes well for you all,my friend is booked in for c.section on friday & has ask if i'll help out when she gets home, her parents don't live round here & neither of them want her mum to come & stay & his mum hasn't even offered to help so they told her to stay away & ask me,i was so chuffed when they ask me,can't wait to meet the little chap,do your new babies have names yet

The girls are now tearing round like something demented, they have a box full of toys but are playing with a piece of paper, pleased we have cats & not a dog, don't fancy turning out in this lot for a walk

Hope all are as good as they can be

    Love & hugs

    xx
