Hello all
Just dropped on with a box of chocolate chip cookies, the white ones are srummylicious
xx
Hi everyone, to add to the scrumptious choc cookies from Carol, some chocolate chip cookies that daughter made for me cos I'm not so well yet, there are far too many for just me, and hubs is diabetic! ( and she took some with her too! )
hugs to you all xxx
ps, was moved almost to tears by Helen and Aljaz's (sp?) waltz on Strictly, gorgeous, daHhhling!
Moomy
Glad to see that the room is comfy and the cookies haven't quite all gone, think an early coffee and croissant is an idea. ( thank you, faeries for keeping this all going) had a better night sleep but that meant a lot of coughing, clearing the tubes when I woke!
The wood burner is gently going, it's lovely and warm here.....

Moomy
Glad to see you're on the mend Moomy, how is everybody else, all well i hope, can't sit down just yet as i've heaps to do & if i don't crack on it will never get done, next job is to relocate clothes horse from bathroom as 3 girls sleep in the bath & steal washing from it & put in their bed, heaven knows why though as we've made them a lovely comfy nest to sleep in
Love & hugs to all

Hi Carol,
It seems three steps forward, three back as I'm feeling rubbish today! and daughter is down with it too, as well as hubs. She's cancelled today's work (is on antibiotics) and when she feels well enough, will drive up here to be looked after by those who need looking after!
Problem is, she has clinic in Manchester on Friday. Main problem is how to get her there.
watch this space!

Moomy
Aw Moomy, sorry to hear you are not too well, hope you continue to improve.
Hope everyone else is ok, sorry not completely caught up with all the messages as I have had a really busy week. Glad to hear you had a good time at your dad's Mark and thanks for the cookies Carol.
I am totally off the steroids now and seem to be ok, was a little more tired than usual last week but picking up now. Did ok at running club yesterday so think I will be fine.
Is Lucas still AWOL? Cheeky monkey, bet he's being fed somewhere.
What a busy month December is, we have lots of birthdays as well as Xmas. We had a big family get together this weekend with 30 of us for bowling and a meal. I go to my sister Fri-Sat next week 11th-12th, for my nephew's birthday and it is my birthday on Sunday 13th. So need to get all my shopping done this weekend coming as we go skiing the Sunday before Xmas. Will try to pop in again soon but leaving some advent choc for you all
Sending hugs
Jakki xx
Hope everyone else is ok. Carol the idea of your babies stealing the washing made me laugh.
Lucas is still missing, so I hope he has found someone to feed him.
I walked into Budapest centre earlier with a friend, looked around the oldest market hall in town, then we had some typical Hungarian street food.......pork and rice wrapped in cabbage leaves In the Christmas market. Then I came back, went in the spa and I am now sitting eating apple cake and drinking coffee. Very relaxing. In fact so relaxing I nearly fell asleep in the thermal pool.
plan for tomorrow is to get my hair cut, then an organised trip around the old Jewish quarter, then back to the spa before packing.
Christine, hope you are ok. You need to join us on a Wupper holiday next year.
Sorry you're not so good again Moomy & that all the family now have it too,it really is a retched thing this bug isn't it
Lynda you sound as if you're having a lovely time,if it was somebody else's cats stealing washing too i would find it funny too but it's been quite annoying having to do it again because 3 furry creatures like to lay on it,sorry Lucas hasn't returned yet
Pleased to hear you're doing good Jakki,i'd be happy to walk any distance without limping at the minute let alone run
I've left some rabbit bolognaise in the slow cooker if anybody would like some
Now off to let Pud out for his evenings fuss befor it's time to let the lunatics out again
Love & hugs to all
xx
Good afternoon everyone
I hope everyone is well or at least feeling better. Our furry friends are keeping everyone amused.
Lynda make the most of your holiday, the weather here is damp and grey again.
I am starting to feel better now I have stopped chemo. No hair growth yet and nails seem static. I will have to have patience. Waiting for radiotherapy appointment now.
I have been sprting out online shopping for Christmas. Just need to sort out cards now.
Afternoon, just got in from lunch with my friend,it was lovely to spend a few hours with her & catch up on her news
Well the furry ones are holy horrors at the minute, anybody would think they're feral the way they carry on,yet again they've had the stair curtains down, yet again the felt christmas pudding has been flying round the room & yet again Medusa has been trying to help me typing on the laptop,Polly now sleeps on the toilet & the little savages sleep in the bath,do i regret keeping them,of course not i love them to bits, even when they launch themselves across the bed & land with all 4 paws on a full bladder at 6.30am
Hope all are feeling ok,nice to know you're doing ok & chemo is all done now Gillian, hope radiotherapy is soon sorted for you,i've thought about christmas but that's as far as i've got at the minute,i'll soon have to start of it will be here & nobody will have a present
Have to go get him indoors now
Love & hugs to all
