I am am bginning to think that they only way I might get Lucas back is if som one takes him to a ve or refuge place to g t his microchip checked. I doubt he will come home on his on now and there have been no reported sightings.

    Carol, glad Willow is ok.

Glad I made you giggle. Makes me feel a bit better finding some lightness in life!

Ian hope you are OK. Glad you have joined Way Up xxxx

  • Nice to see here's been a bit of giggling here.....no, don't make me laugh, it hurts too much! ( anyone know how I can stop my rib cage from hurting so much with coughing?!?!?!) ( by the way, it's sinusitis and antibiotics)

please keep fingers crossed, daughter wants to catch Sue Perkins to get her to sign her book, she needs to 'leg it there' after her stint playing with CBSO in Birmingham. Then she's coming down here, poor kid, with a Mum who really isn't that fit to look after her, I'm lounging around in the onesie, getting dressed to see the quack was exhausting, so I've taken to me bed again! Left 'him indoors' to try to cope, bless him, he can see to do some things but needs reminding to do the rest.

    Hugs to all xxx

Bless you moomy, take it easy. Have you tried inhaling steam to help relax your chest and snuses. Put boiling water in a bowl and cover it with a towel. Put your head under the towel and breath in the steam being careful not to scald yourself. I swear by it when I get blocked tubes.

Hope everyone else is doing Ok in this filthy weather

  • Oh yes, Gillian, inhaling steam is what I've been doing the last few days, I use an upright plastic jug as you've then got a handle to enable you to hold it securely.

i found a bit of energy to pop down and cook dinner, well, prepare, get it into cooking dishes and get into the oven, hubs has to watch over it.....( minced beef cooked with onion and mushrooms with a tomato pasta sauce, topped with sliced potatoes part boiled, and pats of butter)....help yourselves to all going spare.......

wont be going to BP tomorrow, hubs will just have to pinch a good steward to help him, he has a friend coming in anyway, and a prospective pupil so should be OK to begin with.

    Hugs xxx

If you have a little Vicks you can add that to the steam but don't put too much in! You can keep the jug and keep microwaving it.
