Hi everyone,
Last night the dog went home, (he wagged his tail so hard he was wagging his whole body, bless him) and it feels relaxed now, not having to share the sofa and waiting for his paws to patter in a rush when he'd not realised you'd gone from one room to another!
Sons shared fish and chips with us and then managed a slice of my freshly made carrot cake, some in the cake container on the worktop if you'd fancy a slice, folks.....kettle's hot, too....
hugs xxx

Animals are so funny when their loved ones come home aren't they, has having him there made you think about getting one,we always laugh when we get home,3 little black girls all rushing to be the first one to you & as Vince says "here they all come with their flag up" had to google why they have their tail up & apparantly that's how they say hello, mustn't have cake as we're off out with friends to try a new italian
Hope all are as well as they can be & have had better weather than we have,it's been flipping horrible today

Evening everyone, I hope you are all well. Animal bejaviour always makes us laugh. It is nice to hear all your stories.
My sister shipped her collie to USA and when the dog and family were reunited apparently the dog went bonkers. She must have wondered what was happening to her. She was so happy to see her family at the airport.
It was a chemo day todayh. We went for a meal on the way home. Now relaxing.
Hugs to all
Hope the chemo went as well as It can... - I used to get the nurses getting all shocked with me, when I told them I'd been for fish N chips, just before the chemo, and was planning on walking home via the pub (on good days)... - uneventful day here today really, asides I booked my flights for Christmas, off daringly on the 23rd December, to return on teh 11th Jan; off to stay with a very good friend in Sweden... - guess I'll need to buy some warm clothes though! hope everyone else is OK this evening... Starting to feel a bit cold here now, of the evenigns as winter gets nearer I guess... - plenty of cups of warm tea though as per useual do the trick!
I've put the kettle on for a brew,i'm absolutely frozen, think i may have a cold brewing
Well here goes with the tale of 3 kittens, last night when we got home from a meal with friends the kitten from up the road was outside our house trying to get in & we had 2 very unhappy kittens,Vince picked her up & we took her home, closely followed by our 3,today i nipped home after i'd taken Vince to work & was greeted by our 2 hooligans, while i was indoors the kitten from 3 doors up appeared & was crying outside the door, hunched backs & much hissing to be heared when i went outside again,Polly was in the drive with a mouse & calling to her babies,i think she's now decided they need to learn how hunt as said mouse was still alive, when i went to get in the car Ruby was sat in the back,i'd been so busy watching Polly i didn't see her get in,the family she now lives with are on holiday & she can get out the cat flap but not back in so we all seem to be taking it in turns to take her back home & shove her back in through it,i did have to smile to myself as it was ok for our 3 to be in her garden but not for her to be in theirs
Hope chemo is kind to you Gillian
Christmas in Sweden, how lovely,i went to Sweden many years ago for the speedway world final & we had have a brilliant time,we have decided to have a very quiet day this year,i will only be off on Christmas day so we'll have a late breakfast, nip & wish the father in law happy birthday then come home & lock the door & draw the curtains & pretend we're not here
Hope all are well as can be

Off to that there Derbyshire tomorrow, who knows what we may see & who we may bump into

Hi all,
I'm home. Had a great holiday, just a few wobbles being on the Island Jon and I went to for our honeymoon and many times since. The weather was lovely, warmer than I expected. I haven't downloaded the holiday photos yet, but will post a couple when I do. Best news was that my youngest son and his girlfriend got engaged while they were there.
now to focus on the move. My plan is to move bits across over the next two weeks, starting with the stuff I don't use often. to that end I loaded the car with the first lot today (as well as unpacking, washing, food shopping).
Poor little ruby! I expect she is missing her own family. My two haven't left me alone since I got back. They keep climbing all over me, paddling me, and Luna spent most of the night cuddled in bed with me.
It's cold here, I have even lit the fire tonight.
