Yes, good luck Jakki, let us know how you get on.

well done Gillian, first one down. I assume you won't have to hang around so long next time.

i had a lovely day in Birmingham sightseeing with Christine. Coffee, museum, look out over the city, lunch and a trip on the canals. We managed to fit in plenty of chat as well. I came home feeling more cheerful, and positive about the move.

Next stop, a weekend in the Lakes.

Poor you Gillian,6 hours is a very long time to be sitting about with a book,i'd have been bored rigid after 30 minutes,i don't do sitting about,i think that's why i have so many "i could do that" projects on the go,at the minute i have a book,2 magazines, knitting, sewing & today i got some felt because i saw some felt baskets & i'm sure "i could do that"

What a lovely day, just what you both needed, lots of coffee stops & chatting, that's my sort of day out

I went mountaineering on the compost heap last night Gillian but she'd put them round the other side of the shed,Vince has cleared the rubbish from infront of where they are & we're hopeing they'll now start coming out so we can handle them,i mashed some cat meat uo & out down for them earlier but miss piggy got in first & troffed the lot befor they could get to it,i think we're going to have to go in mob handed at feeding time & one sort Polly out & make a fuss of her while the other one feeds the kittens

    xx

  • Oh Gillian, go, girl, go! Glad that you didn't have a reaction and hope that chemo treats you well....

Jakki, I have so many things crossed it's hard to see, will continue to do so for tomorrow, please let us know as soon as you can....

Christine and Lynda, so glad you got together, Birmingham is a fascinating city....love the ideas you've got for the new place, Lynda!

Sister Snail, my, those fury fur balls sound a challenge, but I bet you'll get them tamed! And as for the job centre and computer courses, well I guess you might be able to use a programme for keeping all your earnings sorted and listed, sounds like you'll have several jobs running at once! (Animal trainer among them, hehe! )

    hugs to you all xxx

I do like a challenge & my mission is to be able to handle them all in a week

I'm still no wiser with the computer but i've now got 2 email addresses, don't ask me how she did it though & i had to write down all the new passwords & numbers or i still wouldn't be able to access the flipping jobsite, give me a pen & paper & a tin to put my money in anyday,i've done an on line application tonight & 2 paper applications have been handed in today so fingers crossed somebody will say "that's the woman we need"

At the minute we've only go homes for 2 of the kittens & 1 maybe, the chap that wanted 2 has been told by his wife (miserable old moo) that he can't have them but i'm hopeing he can change her mind or we could end up with 4 cats

    xx
