Ooooh Lynda,i'm excited for you & have everything crossed all goes well friday,i love the cushions,i love charity & antiques shops,i think i must get that from my aunty, she was always looking for a bargain
I have to go to job centre tomorrow & have a lesson in how not to cock up setting up an account on the government job site, think they may well get me on a computer course as well, don't know why as i'm sure i don't need to use one as a cleaner, mind you it might help me to work out how to put photos on here if they do put me on a course & i'd love to do that tonight to show you the photo Vince took of Pud
xx
I love antiques fairs and charity shops too.
im going to have a look in the furniture ones round here in case I can find a wardrobe for the spare bedroom.
I may well be round the charity shops tomorrow,i/m meeting a friend for coffee at some point & will be wandering round while i wait to hear what time she'll be in town, there's a lovely antiques place not far from us & we often go & have a wander round there,it also has a craft stall in it & i usually pop in there & have a look in the bargain box to see if they have ribbon going cheap
xx
Thanks. I am sure we will.
hope you get a reasonable nights sleep and your neighbour is still making sure you eat!
Craft stalls and shops......even better. I make all my own cards so I'm always looking for bits and pieces for them.
when I move I'm hoping to have space to set my sewing machine up and leave it up. I have lots of material ready to make a quilt.
Card making is a tad too fiddly for me,i'm a bit ham fisted with that sort of thing, most of the sewing i do is by hand but i do have a lovely sewing machine i inherited from Vinces nanny,it's older than me & when i took the lid off it still had the cotton in from the last time she did any sewing,i can't use an electric one but i love this one,we went looking at scarecrows on saturday (don't ask) & where we went for a cuppa a lady was sewing, she'd got some pretty material & had put some wadding on the back & was stitching round all the flowers,it looked lovely, might have a go at that when i finish what i'm knitting & make some quilts & pillows for dolls prams
Well ladies i'm on the school run tomorrow & need my ugly sleep so tis off up the wooden hill for me
Hope all have a good day tomorrow & hope You & Christine bag some bargains Lynda
Love & hugs to all

Evening lovely people,
Just popped in to put some minty potato salad in the fridge.
I have my scan results tomorrow, eek!
love Jakki xx
Good luck with the scan Jakk, fingers crossed it is all good
Sounds like we have lots of crafty folk on here. I just knit, no good woth a needle and paper and glue and me are not a good combination.
Had the first Herceptin iniection today. I had to dit for six hours in case I had a reaction. It is unbelievably tiring sitting reading etc for 6 hours when forced to do it. Anyhow no reaction so far, first chrmo on Thursday.
potato salad sounds yummy, I do eat enough salad, mind younthe weather has not inspired salads this year so far.
Hello all
Jakki i will have everything crossed for you tomorrow, what time is your appointment
Well we have 5 little balls of hissing fury at the minute but that's hardly surprising as they've had no human contact for 4 weeks,i did manage to handle 2 of them so i don't think it will take long to get them ready for their new homes,i made a big fuss of Polly & kept letting them smell my hands, one is a very vocal kitten & one is going to be easy to tame as it's very inquisitive
Hope all are well
my dear Christine & Lynda, how did the day out go,hope you had a lovely time & managed to bag a few bargains
xx
