Evening all! Exhausted.com here!
My the journeys were dreadful! It took ages to drive north, motorways were busy....or so I thought! Then needed to drive daughter into central Birmingham today for her afternoon rehearsal, then continue with her car to here, will meet her from the train tomorrow. It was better for us to do it that way to allow that shoulder to continue to improve. The journey from Macclesfield to Birmingham took well over 3 hours, dreadful traffic all the way on the M6. Then I grabbed a late sandwich and got going again, M6 still dreadful, the sat nav took me off a couple of times, then bypassed the M1M6 junction altogether, miles and miles of 50 mph wih roadworks ( why must they always do this just getting to peak holiday times?) then M1solid till just after J15, then cruised the last 20 miles, phew!
At least I'm home again, ready to feed hubs and i ( daughter has a B&B near her rehearsal space) and rush around ready for a busy day at BP tomorrow, then meet daughter from the train......then she will drive to and from our local station for her Prom concert ( Beethoven 9 live on BBC TV Sunday night! ) ....and rest!

Just watched the Proms, and just spoke to the lass, it's the first time she's ever played Beethoven 9 and said it felt such a long long sit, doing nothing! The trombones played a few notes in the second movement and she felt her 'bone was cold, but once playing in the 4th movement it warmed up and was fine. It was a strange arrangement with the soloists immediately behind her, and all brass together on the back row of the orchestra. Said she prefers the more normal position. So she's on her way home now with two trombones (large bore in first half, small bore in second, you don't realise these things unless you know!)
So glad you sound so happy, Sister Snail, the change in you is remarkable, really proud of you doing what you did!
Had a lovely quiet Sunday, cut the lawn, did some watering and fruit picking, otherwise lounged about, taking it easy for the first time all week!
Hugs to you all xxx
Moomy
Sounds like your daighter enjoyed the experience. I guess the art of being arpfessional is to make whatever they do look effortless.
You sound happy sister snail, seems to me you deserve it.
I have not yet received a letter about my treatment but I know the Secretary made sure that it was all requested and forms completed last week. If I don't get something in the post today I will be ringing up again. Supposed to see doc tomorrow and start chemo Thursday.
