Take care of that foot, Sister Snail, the swelling might have eased but it is still damaged, so no twisting or putting too much weight on it for a week or three! .........put some shortbread in the empty lock'n'lock, it doesn't like being in with biscuits.....help yourselves, all........will make a carrot cake on Sunday .......hugs xxx
Moomy
Oh Moomy,
I do so love a slice of nice freshly made carrot cake. I love it especially with sultanas in it, so wondered if you will be adding them.
I will make sure I am hanging around for when you bring it in, as that would be very welcome with either a skinny latte, or a cup of Belgian chocolate options.
You certainly know the way to my heart.
Take care of yourself and give yourself time to fully recover.
love Chris xxxxx
That's better now i've got my shoes off,was about 2pm when the foot started to say, that's it i've had enough,so i took an afternoon break (that took them all by surprise as i never bother usually) & sat down with a cuppa & slice of lemon cake & at 4 i said that's it i'm off & took them by surprise again
Now off for a bath then feet up with a bag of ice cubes & give him indoors instructions how to cook tea
Had a shortbread as i walked in,yummylicious & you can have my slice of carrot cake tomorrow Chris & if there's any left i'll have the shortbread with a full fat latte
Thanks to all
Love Carol
xx
Well would you flipping believe it,not even a crumb of shortbread to go with my cuppa, good job there's some squashed fly & digestives left
xx
So sorry I was late bringing in the carrot cake, got busy gardening instead of cooking......but here it is, enjoy!

Moomy
Oh Moomy and Sister,
You both know I have such a sweet tooth. I am trying to be good though and have just had my Slimming World Hi-fi bars with a cup of decaf.
Did you get any lavender oil Sister, and if so, did it work for you.
I forgot to put mine onto ight following bath, and still awake at twenty past three, despite going to bed at 11pm. Brain just whirring around. I will pay for it later though.
Love to you my friends, and thank you for the lovely cakes, even though I only sniffed them.
Aaaaaaaaaaagh SUGAR.
xxxxxxx
Morning folks, I've dropped in for a quiet coffee before I start the day. I won't touch the goodies now, much as I'm tempted! I'll be back later with my contribution, and hope you lot have left a crumb or two! Chris! How can you eat those Slimming World bars, they're like eating MDF, Yuk! XX
Well i'm sorry but i brought some chocolate hot cross buns for our cuppa tonight & i'm steaming mad so i toasted 3 & ate them so there may not be enough to go round
Does anybody else have the "it wasn't me fairy" in there house or does she just live here, after hell knows how many times of me saying "please don't tie carrier bags in a knot & put them in that draw" i have just put 12,i ask you,12 in the charity bag,all tied in a knot,i wouldn't mind but i found screwed up bits of paper as well
Mary i love the Slimming World bars, especially the rockyroad
I got some lavender oil & have been using it for last 4 nights, not noticed much difference with the sleeping but i have the softest arms & chest in the county, they get a good rub with body shop body whip or butter twice a day & then they get another rub with lavender oil when i go to bed
Might just send him indoors out to get more hot cross buns seeing as it's his fault i ate them
xx
