Hello everyone,

I am really pleased you had a nice day together but don't make any decisions while they are paying you just make the most of it. Xxx
I won't tell them i'm not going back till they say everything is sorted & i can go back, that's when i'll give them my notice & i've spoken to somebody in the legal profession & he said i can tell them it's with immediate effect & if they say i have to give a month say well that's fine but i'll be going on the sick so you might as well let me go now
xx
Not too late, I go tomorrow morning.
hope there are extra mews by the time I get home and polly and babies are ok.
it sounds as if you have made your mind up about the job but you have a few days still to think it through carefully. In the end no job is worth stress, so if you think you would be happier doing something else then definitely go for it. I gave my job up two years ago and don't regret it at all.
Enjoy your garden leave. It is great you can do things with hubby. I am really lucky as my Hubby is self employed and works from home most of the time. Whilst I am recuperating he is here and he can easily arrange to come to appointments with me.
It is a worrying time for you though, hope it soon resolves.
In other mews, hope the kittens come soon.
We have had a lovely day in the garden, just eaten dinner outside first time this year. _::We have now come in and have lit the fire, put some, music on (Clanad), and are chilling out.
Cheers everyone and hope you have all been able to enjoy the day
So pleased i didn't miss you Lynda, waiting for these kittens is very taxing i can tell you, have a lovely time & no doubt when you return there will be new mews
There's no chance of me going back now,i'll look for a new challenge now, something with no responsibility & no weekends
Gosh Gillian,i've still got windows open & you have a fire,i'm half watching Foyles war & wondering if i should get my knitting out for an hour or go to bed
xx
We are 700m above see level in the Peak District so we seem to need prolonged good warm weather for the air to feel warm at night. Unfortunately we have not had that this year so far.
That's why you're not as warm as us then,it's still very warm here, talks of a hot week next week so maybe you'll soon get some warm evenings
I'm away to bed now
Hope all sleep well & have pleasant dreams
Love & hugs
xx
Popped in quietly to find you all fast asleep, gently pulled a light fleece over Gillian, and tucked Sister Snail's knitting away in her bag in case those kittens pop out in the night and get tangled.....
Shut the folding doors, now that Lynda has gone on her holiday she won't be needing to pop back in now.....it's a lovely calm, starry evening, the stars (maybe they are planets, it's still nt quite dark......
gentle hugs to you all when you wake xxx

Oh no, too late to wish Lynda Bon Voyage, hope she has a great time.
Carol, I agree with others, don't make any hasty decisions about work, let things work themselves out and then see how you feel xxxx
Hope all are well this morning, it's a bit wet here! Gillian where exactly are you in the Peaks?
Went to Chatsworth yesterday and fell asleep by the river listening to the proms practice, it was lovely snuggling and hearing great music.
Quiet morning as Gav is off doing the Chatsworth Tri but plans for a walk if it fines up this afternoon.
Have put a Jamie Oliver cous cous in the fridge made by my neighbour for our BBQ last night, it is delicious so please dig in.
Hope everyone has a lovely day
Love Jakki
Morning, Jakki,
Its wet here too, daughter phoned last night from London, and as she has a free day today said, could she come and stay as she can spend some of the day in the garden?! Hmm, not too sure she will be doing that!
But she does want to do some practise for her concerto next Saturday and at least she can do that here, but not in the tiny flat she borrows in London.
Enjoy your Sunday, folks, thinking of all of you and sending hugs xxx
