This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.
We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.
So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.
Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

C'mon girls. We don't always know it and we don't always feel it but we are brave and strong, we're all still here loving each other, caring for our families living our lives as the way our loves ones would want us to. We've done it because we're fabulous and know we have to keep on in the face of adversity and we know there are special people all around us to gently steady us when we stumble.
Just spent an hour catching up you have been busy. I don't know a girl has a weekend break (Paris...freezing ...rude people..) and you lot all get posting.
I have been reading up on how you all feel and although things have been rough I put my emotional 'condition' down to stress and the end of term coming up etc but like some of you said I could cry at any second of any day and collegaues or Max or Louise look at me in total confusion as if to say what happened. am I 'm grieving?

Now the age thing. By the way belated comiserations I mean congratulations to the Barb. You made it! Welcome to the club. Now Sam one of my kids this mornig asked me how old I was I asked how old she thought I was, the response....miss you look about 29! so there that's it. I'm happy to be 29.
Keep doing it especially Dawn, Sue and those with 'firsts' coming up.

I have been busy on facebook I think I am reliving my youth ha ha. If anybody is on there let me know so I can request you as friends. There is even a piccie of me and my brood on there. X
I am feeling very sorry for myself lately and things seem to be spiralling but I have lots to keep me busy hence I have'nt been posting much although I am popping in and out I promise.
Sending you a big hug and lots of strength, I know it's a hard time for you at the moment, but you will get through it. All your friends on here will, pull, push, and heave yur through.

bit piddled tonight as been at the liverpool tennis tournament, but just wanted to say yo and sorry for being pants at posting. Really busy at work, plus struggling with anniversary stuff. Really missing dad soooooo much and still walking out of shops that sell fathers day cards as can't cope. thoughts are with all of you, but particuarly those who have lost loved ones this time last year and know what a mess i'm in!
