This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.
We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.
So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.
Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

Ladeez, this is a tough journey when you hit anniversaries time. When bloody shops just want to make money with mothers day/ father days. Dig deep. I try and look at not what I have lost but I gained and experienced. Some people go through their lives never knowing what it is to truly love. Never really experience unconditional love from a parent. I have and you all have. So, as tough as it gets hold on to that. Remember how you got to say your goodbyes. How you can hold your head high. How you kept your promise.
Just wanted to let you know that Rochelle's Mum had a comfortable night last night. All her family are with her and everyone is being so courageous. I'm sure Rochelle's Mum must feel so proud and loved.
She really appreciates everyones kind thoughts and wishes.

Hi Roch, i just wanted to offer my condolences. i don't post often but i've been following your journey and i know your mum must have felt so proud and lucky to have you by her side, you have been fantastic. Sending you the biggest hugs, be proud for all that you have done recently, you gave your mum the greatest gift. Wow, Mel, you've been brilliant too. My heart goes out to both of you;
I am so very sorry to hear your news but hope that you will find comfort knowing what a wonderful daughter you have been and that you did everything you possibly could. I am glad that your two wishes were granted, that your lovely Mum passed peacefully and that you got your wish to be with her.
We will all be here for you whenever you need us in the days, weeks, months ahead.
