This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.
We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.
So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.
Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

Something inside so strong, I know that I can make it......
You will make it, cause you all know how to love. You can feel bad, and take a rest. You are not allowed to lie down and admit defeat. This illness never wins. I know if it wasn't for this illness, I wouldn't have had that precious time with my dad to prepare, to say goodbye, to grow closer, to see his dignity, strength and courage. Those traits outshone this illness and are my beacons of light when there seems to be darkness. I have been blessed and am here to hold hands as you have done for me.
School sports day was good, little one came third in a couple of the races, but thoroughly enjoyed himself!
Hey SAM Sam - do you keep coming on when we are all away, so that you don't have to talk to us? Hee hee, only joking hun. We're not ignoring you honest. It's very often quiet on here in the evenings. Hope you are ok X

Your post bought tears to my eyes and gave me goosebumps. You've done a special thing there for your mom and you'll become a stronger person because of that experience. When it's my turn to sit in that seat with my dad, I hope I can do for him what you've clearly done for your mom.
