This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.

We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.

So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.

Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

I've just read the post from Jac re DH's final week. Although the subject of cancer and DH's suffering was truly awful there was beauty in her words and the unmistakable presence of her love for DH.

Jac says she has been humbled herself over the last week or so, I too was humbled by Jac's moving words, her strength and love for her family.

Thank you for sharing Jac and may DH rest in peace.

    Hi all

I just popped in to say hi to you all, I have just left Jac a message and to let her know she is in my thoughts, infact you all are.

I'm not goin to read back as i just couldn't cope with it, 8 months on and i've hit an all time low

I also visited Berns Grief thread, but i don't think it will help me much at the moment.

Love, hugs & strenght to you all

    Rope People !!!!

    I need your advice.

I'm looking at starting one of the new groups on share that has it's own chat room. The facility is set up (see the home page) and the gist of it is:

You set up a group, you have as many or as few members as you want, it's by invite, we can live chat to each other, no other non members can see our chats, we can share photo's etc.

What do you think? If a good idea, we don't have to use it all the time, and what shall we call it? Let me know your thoughts while I try and muddle through (god I'm such a technophob)

    Love

    Mel X

Ok, more details, as I'm muddling through.

You can either close the group and have those that you have invited. This allows others to see a brief discription of what the group is about but they can not see messages or members.

Or you can open the group up to any that want to join and everyone can see all your messages and members.

Stuck on one bit, but trying to figure out with a bit of help what it all means. God I wish I was a genius !
