This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.

We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.

So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.

Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

    Morning

Em - hun you know there's no need to apologise to us, we know how it is. So sorry to hear about Tony's aunt, big (((((((hugs)))))) X

Mushroom - thank you so much for our chat last night, it helped a lot my friend. I hope you will manage to put your feet up at some point today and get a little 'me' time as you so deserve it X

Bern - don't stay away too long as we miss you X

Jac - totally agree, TGI Friday as this is my favourite day of the week. Sending you and your family all the love, courage and strength for the weekend X

Helen - sending you plenty of squeeshy ones, hope they are reaching you. Love you hun X

Right, I'm off to get the house in order for the weekend as have woken up with a spring in my step this morning and have already done loads including the shopping. Mel, your energy yesterday must have rubbed off onto me!
    .
I have a mixture of emotions this morning though as I found out that the headstone has finally been put back. We will be going to see it in the next few days but it is going to feel really strange as Dad's inscription will now be on it. It makes things seem even more final if that makes sense because although it will be nine months tomorrow, it still only seems as though I was with Dad just a couple of months ago. The passing of time can be a funny thing.

Well, I hope the weekend is kind to you all and that the weather isn't too bad wherever you are.

Love and hugs to all, including those not mentioned,

    Sam X

Aaron did get to say all he wanted to say to lovely Denis. He was awake and coherent, but time is running out.

Aaron and his Dad are on the way back from Ireland now. They are so pleased that they had this chance. Now we will wait for news.

    Big hugs to you all.

    Love

    Melanie X
