Helen dear friend,
Caz will get through this so please love try not to worry, easier said than done I know, workwise she will manage somehow, feel sure of this my love.
In the meantime take care of you and T, too, she needs you both so much, so look after yourselves.
Thinking of you all and Caz is in my prayers, he has to listen this time, or I will be one very angry lady.
Love to you and T
Maryxxxxxx
All is quiet up chez Caz as yet, far too early for her to be awake, especially since the steroid dose she has sends her sleep clock screwy for a good week, bless her.
love and hugs to you all

Caz is feeling brighter and ready for another fight, bless her, as she says, it is sometimes good to have a down day and accept it and work through it, it sort of clears the system and it certainly helps her come up again, we ladies all know how a good cry can help sort us out, don't we? Though she says course no 4 might be harder to cope with as course 2 was........we'll see how it goes, it may be that as with course 2, she'll need a longer break to get platelets up again after course 4, maybe even 2 doses not 3, as course 2 was.
love and hugs to you all

Well, my physio was more promising than the fracture clinic doc about driving, he seems to think since I already have reasonable movement (he nearly fell off his chair when he saw I already had 35 degrees of flexion only 2 days out of cast! and I shook his right hand too-he was gentle but grinned like mad!) I should be ok to drive short distances, thinks the ache will let me know how far! He was happy at leaving me to my own therapy, but wants to see me in a month, I just have to make sure I don't overdo it, and was made to promise, also to not fall over again!.....he showed me the best way to protect the new bone when moving.
Caz is doing ok, she went to stay with a friend for a couple of days and perked up a lot, bless her. Her spirits are better, think she just needed to get her head around the future again, and maybe needing to miss a tour.
I now have a poorly son too, he got an all over severe rash a couple of days after a sore throat, Doc saw him yesterday and insisted he went back again today, had put him on a hefty does of antibio, it is fortunately easing off, I was worried about him but this morning he had slept and was feeling better, the rash was already subsiding, whew! (meningitis was a worry of course)

Great news about the driving Helen! You've already told yourself not to overdo it, so I won't add to that..
I'm glad Caz is doing ok & that she has managed to reconcile things in her head. Not so good news about your son, but good to hear that the rash has subsided.
I hope you are having a good weekend with your new found freedom.
Lots of love..

Helen, so glad to hear that you have your cast off and that your 'movement' is returning. Good to hear that Caz and your son are improving too.
Love and angel hugs x x x Patricia x x x
My, today is sooooooooo windy, it feels like 3 gales at once out there! I walked into town to pick up hub's prescription and got blown there and fought my way back!
Caz had a bumpy flight (because of high winds) back home (she's been away in Ireland for a couple of days) but is safe home
Keep safe, everyone.....love and hugs

There was a heartfelt plea on Twitter this morning, at 6.30, saying 'why do I wake at 6.30 when I can have a lie in? Sleeeeeep, sleeeeep!' so I tweeted back that I hoped she was zzzzzzzzz-ing!
This evening I had a plea with some remedies for 'cat-poo' which had been walked in by the gas man, reminded me of the Flanders and Swann song, I hope it doesn't develop into a week long saga for her! I sent her a reply!
love and hugs to you all
