On these last few hours of 2010, here's hoping the New Year coming will be better for everyone on here, patients, relatives and carers. I wish all better health, happiness and a peaceful and prosperous 2011
My wish for 2011 is that a cure for all cancers will be found to help all the dear friends I have found here, and that this site will therefore be redundant very soon!
Happy New Year to you all, I sent up two lanterns ( well, with hub's help of course, it's a two person job, lol!) and wished for health for all, family and friends alike....
Poor Caz returned from Marrakech with a rotten cold, she was pretty late too.....I had time to get to the local shop (bless you, local Co-op) for supplies but as she'd already taken some paracetamol I could only suggest a nasal decongestant and the good old 'Vick' to inhale. She's taking her time getting going today, just has to drive back home......
Tomorrow I have a 9am appointment for Fracture clinic.....hope it's for a full plaster, maybe even a non plaster of paris one, so it won't matter if it gets splashed, it's been a nightmare keeping it totally dry!
Dear Helen, Hope that things go well at the fracture clinic tomorrow, hope they don't pull you about too much. Sorry that Caz has came back poorly, hope that she feels much better soon. Love and gentle (((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) for you both.
Got the new cast on , am a bit suspicious it's a bit too tight, might have to go back in tomorrow....
Caz is home safe and doing ok, now will do her usual battle with a cold, she wins, lol....but this one got the better of her ears after flying too, so she was going to do lots of steam inhalations, I warned her not to go into the cold for a good hour afterwards. She has a PET scan on the 10th, and appointment on the 17th, I'll be going up for that but can't drive her unfortunately (asked at fracture clinic, they said a definite no) so we'll have to sort something out.
