Hi Helen..not been on for awhile..where does the time go..but just reading back I can see Caz has been through it again..but it does appear She is coping with treatment. So pleased for Her& you.Hope it continues that way.

Ian has had His second lot of IVE..had an infection after 1st lot ..so back in hosp. for another 5 days!same with 2nd lot...He just seems always to get infections after treatment...he had His stem cells taken eventually..6hrs on the machine.He.was going to go in over xmas to have the BEAM chemo & stem cells put back..but because of His last infection pulling Him down so much..His weight was down to 10& a half stone..we decided He needed a rest & once He got His appetite back..needed to be fed up well..His specalist agreed...so He goes in on 12th Jan.He now feels so well & eating like a horse!!put on half a stone..so pleased with that & after all the xmas fayre..hopefully a bit more..it is such a shame as everyone saying how well He looks..that He has to go through more strong chemo& be knocked back again..hopefully this will be the last leg of it all..everything crossed!!His scan& all the other tests came back good...His spec. pleased with the scan results..His lymph nodes appear to have shrunk very well.I know that after the 12th we will be on the roller coaster ride again...but got through all of it so far..will keep strong & positive..like we all have to.Amazing where you can draw that inner strength from when you have to!

We are off out to a Boxing night party tonight..so looking forward to that.

I hope everyone on here enjoyed their xmas&all have a very happy & healthy 2011.

    Love & hugs,

    Sue.

Oh Helen - I am so sorry you have broken your wrist and I  do hope it soon heals! It's no consolation now, but at least most of the snow and ice has now disappeared locally. Be very careful as I know your bones are not as strong as you'd like them to be. This means "Sir" will have to take care of you and ferry you about too as no driving until your wrist has healed. I'm sure he'll love looking after you - if you'll let him - for a change! Glad you had a wonderful time with your family and only sorry it culminated in  a broken wrist. Keeping fingers crossed for speedy healing! Love and hugs, Rosemary x x x

    Dear Helen,

Oh love I am so sorry to read this, it must have been so very painful for you, now is the time to just take care of you until that wrist has healed, as Rosemary says let hubbs take care of you love, I am sure he will do a good job of looking after his lovely wife.

I am so pleased you had a wonderful time with your family, hope you lovely girl is still doing well.

    Dear Helen

You have my sympathy!!!  Been there - done that (well it was my hand rather than wrist).....now got a permanently curled finger as a result!!!!!  As Rosemary and Mary have said - let hubs take care of you for a while........You can't cook or clean or drive with one hand............

    Love and gentle (((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))
