Would love to meet you, Heather, if you are there when I'm about......do look out for me and introduce yourself!
Yes, it IS good even though tiring, especially as I only worked part time when I was still working! so 9 - 5 is a long day for me!
Hope that Eurostar isn't too full for her......think that route might be tricky for the Seal wind folk, even more tricky for Seal himself!
love and hugs to all

Hi Helen,
I will certainly keep an eye out for you if I go, it would be nice to meet you.
Well, sis's flight to Brussels was cancelled, so they decided to get the train to Paris (internal flight had gone ahead, so they managed to get to Zurich). So plan was to get the Eurostar in Paris in the morning. As French airspace is still open, it wasn't booked up. Her boss went to buy the train tickets from Zurich to Paris whilst sis waited for the bags. There was only one train they could get, as the next one was an overnighter which got into Paris as the Eurostar was leaving. Their luggage didn't turn up at reclaim for 1.5hrs!, so bang went that plan, as all trains were then booked until Saturday anyway. They are now in a hire car driving from Zurich to Brussels, which was their original Eurostar booking. If they hadn't booked that this morning, they wouldn't have got on. The drive is going to take 7-8hrs, so they should get there at about 2am. Managed to book a hotel in Brussels so can crash out for few hours before 7am train. It will then be St. Pancras to Euston & then onto Birmingham to collect their cars at the airport. She reckons she'll be home about 1pm tomorrow & very tired.
Sorry, it turned into War & Peace, but thought I'd share her journey with you.
Best wishes to everyone..
xx
Oh, Heather, what a saga! Hope she makes it ok.....she will be pretty tired I expect! We were told to look out for a good sunset, but there are too many clouds! Just hope that the winds pick up within the next week......It would be brilliant to meet at BP, hope you can make it sometime!
Its a week tomorrow that Caz is due to fly to Morocco. Bless the lass, her face has patchy rashes, so she was going to give it a bask in the sun but only for a very few minutes......she has eczema which does respond and improve in the sun. Just hope it works (if she can find those few minutes!)
My love and hugs to all

Heather hope your dear sister arrives home safely, my daughter travelled back from London last night, thank goodness she travelled by train and booked her seat, she said the trains were so busy, as you can imagine. At least she did not fly down, she was thinking about it but likes to travel by train.
Poor love she will be exhausted.
Helen hope you have recovered now and are feeling more relaxed. Is Caz preforming with Seal again?
I do hope that the weather is good today so Caz can bask in the sun for a little while love.

P.S. Glorious here today.
Hi, Mary, yes, this next tour is indeed with Seal, there is another in July when more of Europe will get covered.....that's when she suggests us going up to her place!
Bet all the boats and trains will be extra busy now, no flying yet again today.....hope all of you, and yours, are safe.
love and hugs to you all

Hmmmm, beginning to wonder about Caz finding out alternative transport to Morocco for Thursday, having seen forecast and projected weather systems high in the atmosphere......also we might be finding out rather soon what it is like relying just on foods produced here in the UK
my love and hugs to you all

Well, I googled trains and boats to Morocco, it is possible, so emailed Caz the link, she thought it might be useful, emailed it to the tour manager, the US side of the tour would be landing in Paris and that is where they would have met up......so they are going to have to re-think......no doubt she will still be going, the US lot will all have to fly out to somewhere else. there are about 6 of the UK wind section to think about, including Caz.
What a really lovely warm day it is here, little wind, just 'wall to wall sun', methinks sun cream will have to be used if any bare flesh is about!
love and hugs to you all

Hi Helen,
I am sure Caz will manage to get there somehow, this volcano has caused so much disruption for so many people.
It has been lovely up north too, although the wind picked up this afternoon which made it feel quite cold, too near the coast lo!
Love to you all
