Just had the season's first BBQ, Jimmy's Farm sausages, they were lovely with salad! yummm, crumpets toasted on the remains of the barbie for pud! Mind you, it is chilly out there, glad the bbq is also a firepit!
A long day, we got up at 7 and packed all the tools and the two conifers promised to Caz, drove up and while I dug the garden about (needed to move some plants, then plant the conifers, they were only just small enough to be moved!) , Sir got a rail up and ready for the new curtains she has ready to put up in her room. All got done and we brought home stuff to be donated to the Music service here........exhausted now, been in the hot tub to try and help, Bletchley tomorrow and Tuesday, will be really shattered by the end of this week!
A busy week, today and tomorrow, Bletchley Park, tomorrow evening and Thursday lunchtime rehearsal, Wednesday evening a Park meeting, Friday we promised to go to a concert, Saturday the OU concert in the evening.....meeting Caz from the train Wednesday evening, putting her onto another one a couple of hours later, Meeting her back on Sunday and going up with her by train......hmm, train on a Sunday evening, (must be mad!) for next Monday's clinic appointment! That's without any 'social' events too!
There were so many of us stewards that it seemed pointless staying the whole day, so i get to put my feet up and rest so I'm ready for rehearsal tonight!
It was a good rehearsal, a few things need tweaking but we will be able to put them right, hopefully, at tomorrow's lunchtime rehearsal and Saturday afternoon too, before the concert Saturday evening......Caz is now not coming for the two hours.....will see her on Sunday, thank goodness for flights getting back to normal!
Still need time to put my feet up, did the weekly shop after 10pm last night when we finished, got home about 11.30, then had to put it all away! argh!
