Dear Helen,
Hope your lovely girl if feeling a little better today love.
I think Caz's pal will be ok travelling to Berwick it is on the coast, and the forecast is heavy snow all tomorrow with gale force winds, inland though not on the coast, it is going to turn to rain for those of us near the northeast coast, hope they have it right.
Biggest of hugs to you all
Love Maryxxxxx
Hi, Mary, there was a Tweet telling me that Caz didn't get to sleep till after 5.30 am, says its always the same when she gets some time off.....a) goes down with a cold and b) can't sleep!
Her pal first has to get across the Pennines.......hmmm.......but it is definitely thawing here.......has been warmer from early yesterday early evening
hope everyone is safe and warm but not too hot, lol! love and hugs to you all

Evening girls - Helen the M62 is the only passable road at this time of year most others are closed at the sight of a snowflake!!!! There are - or have been - lots of roadworks though which can slow traffic down a bit...........
We've had a bit of a thaw here today - I keep getting caught out by the drips from the icicles - usually down my neck!!!! However in the last hour or so the wind has got stronger and now it's starting to snow again and settling...................
Mary I usually wear walking boots - Alan treated me to a really good pair last year which are a joy to wear. However, I've lost my gaiters so managed to fill my boots with snow!!!! There's nothing worse than trying to walk in cold soggy socks and boots!!!!! Luckily I was in the park so only a hop and skip away from home!!!!! It took ages to thaw my feet though!!! Ellie the rhinocerdog is enjoying the snow - she loves chasing snowballs but can't understand why they disappear and spends ages looking for them!!! The other day she grabbed a fallen branch and ran off with it ........ then realised it was covered in snow!! She usually licks or eats snow but didn't like getting a mouthful of it off the branch!!! Needless to say branches are now left alone!!!!
Love and ((((hugs)))) Dot xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Dear Helen,
Hope that Caz is feeling much better today and has managed to get some proper sleep, bless her.
Hope that your keeping nice and warm.
My love and ((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))
Quill xxxx
Hello, Quill, I hope you are feeling a good deal better today.....
Caz's results are mixed, platelets look as if they are beginning to climb, but her white count is still way down, so it looks like I will need to go up on Wednesday and stay a couple of days, as her pal will be away, I just need to make sure she has someone who is fit and able to take charge if need be....
She still feels pretty yukky with the cold, they rarely get a hold but as her bloods are low, she has succumbed this time.
My love and hugs to you all, will take laptop with me...

Today it's grey, grey, grey......hope the sun won't desert us all for ever......
Caz seems to be relishing sofa days.....just hope she stays infection free! Will be going tomorrow, have my rail tickets, then if she needs any shopping I will be able to do it so she doesn't even stand a risk from shoppers let alone shop assistants......she now says she'd quite like a track suit for lounging about in, lol!
Take care, stay warm, safe and dry, folks. my love and hugs
Moomy
Hmmm, just seen a forecast, more white stuff, it'd better stay away! Especially for the young woman who will drive across to the east side of the Pennines tomorrow.....leaving our lass at home......and also for the trains tomorrow to take me there.....
