Just seen one of Caz's photos, she makes a mean salad, and also excellent blueberry pancakes! 

Kitchen fitters are here early and will be working all day, floor being done as I type, at long last!

hahaha, it is at long last going ok, Dot, they put the floor down yesterday and put several cupboards in place, and also at last my washing machine and dishwasher, have almost run out of towels so the washer was very welcome! The electrics took a lot longer than anyone had forecast, there was a whole lot to do! We bought a new dryer so that will be fitted in and vented by the fitters too. I just got back from John Lewis, having bought a new plate rack for the new cupboards, it was needed! Now the decisions of what to put where are beginning, in theory only for now of course! The fitters said this is a tip top quality kitchen that we have chosen, they are enjoying putting it together! And no more slamming of doors and drawers, they are all soft close....Floor looks simply terrific! 

Caz is getting emails of photos every so often and has offered to come and paint ceilings for us, bless her! But the plaster needs at least 4 days to dry properly, they said. So it will be at least the end of next week now before we can lift a paint brush.....

Hi Helen - so pleased that everything is going OK for you at last.  Just look forward to cooking your first meal in there!!  If you dare to mucky up the cooker etc!!!!!  Does your girl ever rest???  She always seems to be up and doing!!  Puts us fitter (?) bods to shame!!!!
