I really think that they should have left things alone. I had a friend on mac that is so stressed with it all she has said she will never come back onto the site again. Luckily I now have her on facebook but she has lost so many friends because of this change over, especially as she still needs the support.
Love quill xx
We will keep posting on here Helen to keep this thread on the first page
Love and hugs to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thanks, Quill and Dianne, the site certainly hasn't been improved, there must be so much still to do, I so hope it can get done, I have over a year of p/ms that are so far still missing, and I so wish they were back as there are some I want to be able to re-read, from those who sadly are with us no more.
Today I need to do some cleaning and make some tasty stuff for Caz who will be here today, she has work in London and Bournemouth this week,so apart from a night in a hotel down there, she will be here till Tuesday next week. She has planned a complete day off, good girl, so she can just flop about or even stay in bed and have 'room service' lol!
My love and hugs to you all

Afternoon Helen,
Tasty stuff eh? sounds good to me, apart from the cleaning. Have a wonderfull evening with Caz.. I've got to pick up my cousins 3 kids from school today as she is unwell, they all come out at the same time and are all in different years, as well as Charlotte this should be a challenge. Wish me luck lol.
My love and ((((((((HUGS)))))))) to you and Caz.

I hope this is how I now post on this new site. I had good news last week but was unable to post it due to the site being closed. However my husband had his mid cycle scan and was told that the tumors appear to have shrunk by 50-70% and they are going to give his body a rest for 3 to 4 months and he is dropping the oxiplatin from his list of drugs he is taking.
Bad news, mother in law had a small stroke on Friday but has recovered enough to return home yesterday.
Love to you all and lets hope we can get to grips with this site soon.
Jash
Hello, Jash, welcome to my thread, of course you can post, and have just done so!
Pity about your bad news of course, strokes are rotten, I do hope recovery is good. But the good news, wow! may it continue to improve and the tumours shrink right away!
We are waiting now for Caz, know she has packed but not when she has set off.....I guess the doorbell will just go sometime soon!
love and hugs to all

Hi Jash - That's Such great news that your husband's tumours are shrinking!!! It's good that he'll get a break from the Oxaliplatin. My husband found that a brutal form of chemo. Now you can have a "holiday" for a few months. Sorry to hear about stroke, tho.
Helen - Enjoy Caz's visit. I'm sure you'll be doting on her!!! Have fun.
Love & Hugs to all. Mo
ps - It looks like I'm muscling my way into this thread too, eh?
Mo, you are very welcome, I had the awful feeling that my thread would disappear into the grey unknown, so am very glad folk are using it!
We still await the wanderer! Bless the lass! she gets fed up with suitcase living, but that's the price she must pay for being freelance! (and a good 'un cos she gets the work in spite of the illness!)
Moomy
Hi All, my good news is that I attended hospital today. Six years since diagnosis and was told treatment is now all finished and I don't have to go back for a year now. Not officially, all clear, but as good as. Consultant said as much as there is no guarantee I won't have a recurrence, the longer time goes on, the less likely. That's good enough for me.
Having a small celebration with my partner tonight and have a party planned for Saturday to break the good news to my family. I didn't tell them I was at hospital, so it will be a surprise for them.
I will have a drink to toast all you lovely people on this site. Hope you are all as well as can be expected.
Love, Christine xx
