Our plans for this next week include a day out (to pick my anniversary present) and then a few days spent at Caz's to do a couple of jobs for her, she has another lot of music arranging to do for Seal, and says it isn't quite so difficult so she hopes to get it done fairly quickly, but in any case will appreciate a break!

I just hope it won't be too hot this week as there are jobs to be done outside! the house is lovely and cool because of the thick walls, but the garden will be in such sun! ah well......
My brotherinlaws place sounds like that, he lives in Linconshire and the walls are really thick, but like you say, cool inside but roasting outside.....he has a gorgous cottage, very relaxing, it's so nice when we visit because there is nothing around for miles, apart from cabbages, which stink, but I can put up with that..........we end up sitting outside till the early hours, it's so beautifull......
Wow, sounds gorgeous, Quill! Caz's place used to a bobbin mill, she has the bottom 2 storeys, the lease holder has the top 2, as its that tall, the walls are all very thick, used to support all the machines, wish we knew more of its history. It will look so beautiful when completely renovated. It was a sort of house before but there was a lot of necessary work to do to make it properly habitable, and she wants to save up to get the chimney properly lined for a wood burning stove in the sitting room, the chimney leaks into the upstairs property at present, but of course they need to get permission from the person there for that.
Arr, Wow, Caz's place sounds so lovely too, the wood burning stove, how cosy would that be.......very nice indeed......I sooooo love things like that, dad used to have one, so does my brotherinlaw...they make so much difference to a home I think......I want one..........ah, well, I'll have to put up with boring old rad's.....Maybe one day.........
Have a wonderful time with dear Caz, sounds busy for you, I am sure it will be lovely to spend sometime with your dear daughter. Give Caz a big hug from us and tell her we are all rooting for her dear lady.
