My CD( 2 in the cover), just in case anyone loves classical and choral music......Elgar's 'Dream of Gerontius' is now available, I think, from HMV on line, CD HLD 7520, Halle orchestra and choir, conducted by Sir Mark Elder, soloists Alice Coote, Paul Groves and Bryn Terfel.
I have to warn you it is an emotional piece! I cried at the concert, and again on hearing the CDs!
news of our lass, she's now in Russia, was delayed by non show of luggage in Helsinki, but is hoping to see something of St Petersburg today before she needs to be in the concert venue.....(what a lucky soul, always wanted to go there!)
