Welcome to Warped.

I wanted to come back in time and explain something as it doesn't make sense otherwise...(though not much of this thread makes sense anyway)  I set up this thread as explained below with a lovely dear lady called Sunny Leith. We had a lot of chat on here and the silliness got me and her and lots of others through some hard times. Sunny left the site when there was some criticism of warped  and she deleted all her posts when she left. That is why it doesn't make sense to start with as all her posts are missing and it is a bit of a one sided conversation.... Enjoy it all the same...

Hi there,

This is a follow on from the 'dumb things people say' recent thread that is moving here with a health warning!

If you are feeling sensitive please don't read this thread as you may feel offended.... and we need a place to say what we need to say without worrying about offending people so  you have been warned!!!!

This is for those of us who cope by being irreverent and silly and able to laugh at all the bad stuff. If you want to get the idea, read the last few pages of dumb things people say, I might see if I can cut and paste a few over to get us going....

In the meantime,

Sunny, you had me laughing my head off this morning with that image of you sitting there in your underwear, chocolate mouth etc!! I think it would have been hilarious if you had answered the door and invited them in.... they certainly would have needed oxygen by the time they got back down the speed they would have run away....!

Magel, how do they find us?? I live up a very steep hill in a very remote area and they made it up the hill to us too..... mind you, they were so out of breath they couldn't speak... almost felt sorry for them!

Can't remember what else we were on about as I can't see the last post anymore but lets continue here with the laughs and anyone new, feel free to join in.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Little My x

Just popped in for a quickie (and why is LM watching a programme about phone sex???) and its taken ages to read everything...we have 25 followers and over 1,700 posts! Chemo brain is still apparent, so will forget everything I've read.

Glad you enjoyed Chester, Jan. I've been to The Watergate and its a lovely place. Shame Mum soon brought you back to earth.

This weekend one of my many nephews is having a celebratory lunch for his 21st which was earlier this month. We have a 4 hour+ journey (inc part on The Road to Hell) down, so hubby says its not worth going down for one day, book in a hotel for 2 nights. My parents live 30 mins away from us, so my brother rings a couple of weeks ago and says that he can pick them up, on his way back from Sheffield, and would we bring them back.

Well, hubby and I had been away for the weekend (AGAIN I hear you say!) and got back to 2 messages on our answerphone from parents (and Dad made some comment about me hiding from them....would never cross my mind haha!). The short version is that we are taking them there and back......so if you hear of 2 people wandering on the M25 we will have cracked and pushed them out of the car. My parents are well meaning and supportive, but drive us to distraction, and such a long time in a confined space........Just hope Mum doesn't start on the headtilts, and Dad commenting on hubby's driving.

I've suggested bags go on E-Bay. I read that Gripe Water is costing more than a bottle of wine as its in such short supply. I like the idea of the Dynamic Dyson Duo. Good luck to you both, and may the force be with you :-) Pissflaps to sorting out arrangements and staffing etc when you have so much else on your mind LM

Lovely Ems, I am with you all the way. This is probably the crappiest you will ever be, but we're all here wishing you well. All I'll say is 30% chance of survival of first year, and I'm still here!

Not a very warped offering as we have so many serious issues going on at the moment but.........

Yesterday I went to see my little man so that we could go training for Beefy's walk on 17th April. We were back at R's house and hubby and i were playing with him. I read him Hairy McClary, and then I looked at him and said " I hear you did a big pooey nappy while Uncle P was holding you" Uncle P is my older son. This brought the biggest smile to his face, and every time I said "Big pooey nappy for Uncle P" I got the same response. When I spoke to P he said that he'd made such a big noise he thought he was squeezing him too hard!!! A had the last laugh as I got treated to the big pooey nappy just before I left....

Love and hugs to all my warpy friends because it sounds like we need to empty the Viners factory this month xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Evening fellow warpers,

Wanted to wish LM and hopefully bye bye to baggy and being a bit closer to becoming a Dyson Duo with Clucker. As your going off to sleep LM I want you to dream of all of us standing in a line in our womble pants and colour socks singing "FECK, ARSE and DRINK!!!!!!!!!!!! and maybe when you are better we can have that meatball fight face to face but in the meantime I want to give you a massive hug and special squeeze. xxxxxx

I have had a thrilling week so far cause its been Cheltenham races on TV and to be honest I think I've ran every race with the jockeys and my voice has taken a bit of a bashing. Had three winners yesterday and had I put money on I would have been a few thousand £ richer but never mind its not about the money its all about the excitement of the race.

I'm hoping Ems treatment is going well and there are no problems, but by the sound of it Cruton has got the magic bin ready!

Stinker I'm glad the little one is giving you so much pleasure with his little smiles and pooey bum!!!

Annie way back when it snowed last I had told you we had gone for a walk and took some lovely photo's, well since I have mastered up loading photo's on here I though I would bore you all with a couple!!!!!!!!!!

So wishing you all well and sending lots of hugs to you all and toecap kicks to pissflap ex's and cat kickers!!!!!!

    Hi Rubybooby,

THank you for your message, and I will have that image and it will make me giggle and he might slip with the needle but it'll be worth it!

My friend at school today suggested drawing a smily face on baggy and then I thought that I could draw eyes on my belly as my stoma looks a bit like a mouth (hence the term stoma- means mouth- bit of education for you there) but thought that the surgeon might not appreciate it and then he'd have to clean it all off. I did wonder about writing something humerous on there too... but for the same reasons, better not!

I am still drinking these bloody drinks and feel sick with them all now. One last fortisip on the go and then 3 of these pre op things left. Phew! The bit I hate most is phoning up the hospital to see if they have a bed. It said phone before you leave but I have to leave at 6am so I just phoned now and said do you really want me to phone at that time of the morning? She said, Oh no, just come in so looks like it is all on!

Nobhead and cowy colleague both went home at the end of the day without saying bye or good luck or anything!!!! Both of them actually walked past me as they were going.! NH dropped me in it big time with the kids today, its sort of sorted now but I was shaking with anger for his undermining... I went and saw the head and complained about him. He is going to get a bollocking tomorrow haha. that will give me sweet dreams!!

so, taxi is booked, bag nearly packed, uncle slowly on the mend out of intensive care. Max booked into his hotel for 2 nights and then brothers. P and cats shopped for, marking done, I'm ready for a rest!!!

Kind of a bit odd to think no more baggy. he's become part of me now and its a bit strange thinking he won't be there tomorrow. Sort of nostalgic... baggy's last swim, baggy's last dinner, baggy's last poo hahaaaaa

all these pre op drinks are giving me a sugar rush and I don't like it.

Anyway, what I wanted to say was that you lot had better look after yourselves and don't get into trouble or get ill or do anything worrisome at all ok?

I will get on as soon as i can to say that I am alive and here etc but in the meantime, I love you all and please take care eh?

    BRING IT ON!!!!!

All the hugs to all of you

    Hi Ruby Booby, Hi LM,

Well done on the winners Ruby, got to get them tomorrow on the big day, Gold Cup that is LM. Of course it is also your big day, and hope you have the alarm set!

Love the idea about writing on baggy, I would do it if I thought it wouldn't make the surgeon chuckle, after all we wouldn't want him to have a slip would we!

Lovely snowy picture, better than the image I recall up in Scotland. I was in some street in Glasgow that was full of young ladies flashing their work at me! Not really a lasting image of course.

Got to go now as I need to watch darts, note the word need.

    Tight lines

    Hi LM,

Bye bye Baggy indeed! All set for the big day then, horrid drinks dutifully downed - oh you are so brave, tilt tilt - give the mogs a big hug and P a big kiss'n'cuddle, and nobhead & mrs  not a second thought, ok?

Looking forward to your early release from a most successful reversal, parp parp!

Hove & lugs & a great big grannykiss,

I don't think Baggy will be missed, will he? If I were in a happier mood (which I'm not, hugely; my friend Caro's beautiful part-Serval Puck has just been killed by a speeding driver who didn't even bother to stop, may they rot in hell) I would do you a wee G&S list of all the things that never will be missed. Maybe some other time. Good luck, *hugs*,I thought Nobhead had made a resolution to do better?, and what's a six o'clock in the morning??

    Hi Roobs,

What a glorious scene, it's magical, you've captured the essence of winter! Thank you so much. Glad you'e had so many winners, beloved's had only one and some places, but never mind, there's tomorrow yet ...

My final freecycler came last night to collect her freebie crochet yarn - a black bin-bag full, she was delighted. She'd driven with her little girl from the far side of Brum (Bournville) & didn't know the route though she had a satnav but Brum's evening traffic is murderous. I was so relieved to see her as she has MS and I worried she might get poorly, but she was fine. And this morning she sent me a lovely thank-you email - not many do that!

Do take some spring photos, we can have an album!

    Love & hugs,
