Welcome to Warped.

I wanted to come back in time and explain something as it doesn't make sense otherwise...(though not much of this thread makes sense anyway)  I set up this thread as explained below with a lovely dear lady called Sunny Leith. We had a lot of chat on here and the silliness got me and her and lots of others through some hard times. Sunny left the site when there was some criticism of warped  and she deleted all her posts when she left. That is why it doesn't make sense to start with as all her posts are missing and it is a bit of a one sided conversation.... Enjoy it all the same...

Hi there,

This is a follow on from the 'dumb things people say' recent thread that is moving here with a health warning!

If you are feeling sensitive please don't read this thread as you may feel offended.... and we need a place to say what we need to say without worrying about offending people so  you have been warned!!!!

This is for those of us who cope by being irreverent and silly and able to laugh at all the bad stuff. If you want to get the idea, read the last few pages of dumb things people say, I might see if I can cut and paste a few over to get us going....

In the meantime,

Sunny, you had me laughing my head off this morning with that image of you sitting there in your underwear, chocolate mouth etc!! I think it would have been hilarious if you had answered the door and invited them in.... they certainly would have needed oxygen by the time they got back down the speed they would have run away....!

Magel, how do they find us?? I live up a very steep hill in a very remote area and they made it up the hill to us too..... mind you, they were so out of breath they couldn't speak... almost felt sorry for them!

Can't remember what else we were on about as I can't see the last post anymore but lets continue here with the laughs and anyone new, feel free to join in.

Looking forward to hearing from you

    Good Moaning,

Oh I wish the F was for fart Ruby, haven't done was of those since my op last year! In fact I rang the hospital again to ask if there was a date for my reversal (remember I was sent a letter on the 2nd of Sept saying I was on the waiting list) and they said...... "Nothing is booked and we are full in January."

So that means I will probably be having a birthday party for baggy later this month. Cake, choklit, wine (lots cos Jan likes it) and all purchased from Waitrose, that should cover everyone! LM could have brought the balloons but that is now cancelled, and Cruton If you can bring the wheelie bin it will make tidying up nice and easy.

I like Marmite, but only going in my mouth, so we can have some of that too. What you lot want to do with it is up to you, that comes under the party tricks banner!

So who is responsible for the title changes, they do make me laugh lots so well done - I'm easily pleased. Remind myself of simpleminded pooh bear at times haha.

Anyhoooow, My attention is the word PARTY! someone mentioned a party and I heard and it's made me jump up and down lots so there.  I love a good party, but we need sparklers, i'll bring those.  Lots of sparklers to twirl around with when the wine has gone :)  Oh and Tim, I still have lots of bombay mix left from newyear so i'll bring that too.  I have half a christmas cake and some peanuts oh and plenty of lager in the shed oh, oh, and yuck! advocaat and whisky that no one wanted.

So if we all bring our leftovers, i'm sure we'll have loads to make a really good party for baggy Tim.  Might aswell embrace it for now eh!  Lets give him a party 'cos i'm sure soon he'll be gone for good.  Oh and then we can have another party to say goodbye to him.

Right i'm off to hoover up Ripleys hair and clean the windows from her dog snot today.  Then i'll shower and i'm meeting a nurse friend to catch up on gossip.  You'd like her, she's a definite loon.  You'll understand Scraton, she's a psychy nurse like me, and when we get together lets just say warped to the limit.

Right i'm off, take care all,

    Love Jan xx

p.s. Hope you're feeling better today Hils, and hope Ems is now comfy in her hossie bed. And Ruby ((hug)) hope you're on the up as the day goes on xx

  • Hi Everyone

Odin what a great idea a motorised bin can it have a seat and handle bars so I can sit and ride rather than push (LM I know what you are thinking about that last comment keep it clean now)

I am sorry I had to give up Colette when I reached Manchester you see what with the wheel falling off and having 60 quid of vouchers for Samuels (not my fav jeweller but couldn't give the voucher back now could I?)and 130 quid for M&S what was I to do?

Shopping is not my favourite pass time my girls say I am abnormal ur dooh cause I am female and hate shopping.I get trolly rage in supermarkets and want to charge down the aisles knocking over people who think it is a place to stop and chat to all your friends and anyone you meet

shopping is a necessary evil for me whilst I'm on the subject who put mirrors in changing rooms they distort the truth lying about your size making me look 2 sizes bigger than I really believe I am they are so evil.

Tim when Odin has motorised my bin and put go faster stripes on it I will bring it to the party with if still in date retirement choc as can't seem to reduce the mountain of Thortons despite my best efforts

Bit worried about Jan bringing the sparklers though after her last escapade with them perhaps a health and safety check and get her to blow into an alcometer  first wouldn't want her to trip over my bin

Meeting up with Psychy nurses Jan that too should carry a government health warning have fun and enjoy

I too hope everyone feeling a bit better today and things go well for Ems

    Hugs to all

I'm still here, its just taking ages to catch up with stuff...so dont think I will bother now and just start again,I am very easily distracted these days.    Had a slight panic attack last night as my GP rang me.... I thought he was going to send me back to the nut house or as the NHS call it   medical ward.   But it was ok he was just trying to sort out a prescription for the injections I now have to take....he was wondering how long would it be before I could have warfarin instead   phhewwww.   I am off to the clinic today to see onco and find out if there is to be any more chemo....and I am supposed to be at a friends wedding this afternoon,if I am lucky I could just about make the reception.     At least now with all the plans made if anyone else gets kidnapped it wont take long for the rescue and we now have time to set up the warped hospital      I wonder if I would be allowed to be matron as I think I am now eminently qualified for the position and can even do injections, there is no way i would be a patient cos thats how you get ill believe me i know.....croak croak cough cough.             Hope everyone else is ok and comfy wherever they are.   Got to go and find something to wear that fits me....other than the usual PJ's or trackies.....I dont think they will do for a wedding.    Keep your fingers crossed for me I need all the luck I can get today .XXXXX       Colette

    Morning all,

Jan I was thinking the very same thing (wondering where everyone is). Its a rainy day up here today, but then when ever is it not raining in Scotland.

Colette don't you start having panic attacks!!!!!!  Hope it goes well at your appointment today and they don't kidnap you again. Have a lovely time at the wedding.

Jackie stop cutting your hair , it doesn't go with the famous womble pants !!!! LOL

P.S. LM I bet you never thought your womble pants would become so famous. (hope school is going ok and ur ok).

I have my appointment with the Psychology Oncology tomorrow in Edinburgh, I must say I am glad the wheels are in motion as I have felt in limbo land since all this started in June last year, and I just want to get on with my life and go out on my OWN to the shops or a friends for supper.

I am a little nervous about having to travel up there and be so far from home incase I have a panic, but I am looking forward to having a chat with the Dr as I don't get to see many people through the day at the moment which I really hate. I might even try and go into that big yellow & blue building to change a light that was faulty. God I lead an exciting life !!!!!! Wish me luck xxx

Ruby xx Poooing her pants LOL

    Hi all,

Just a quickie to wish Colette and Ruby all the best today. Just remember what Corporal Jones said, "Don't panic!". Well it always seemed to help Jan when I said that to her.

I'm up to my eyeballs in work at present, so see you later.
