Welcome to Warped.
I wanted to come back in time and explain something as it doesn't make sense otherwise...(though not much of this thread makes sense anyway) I set up this thread as explained below with a lovely dear lady called Sunny Leith. We had a lot of chat on here and the silliness got me and her and lots of others through some hard times. Sunny left the site when there was some criticism of warped and she deleted all her posts when she left. That is why it doesn't make sense to start with as all her posts are missing and it is a bit of a one sided conversation.... Enjoy it all the same...
Hi there,
This is a follow on from the 'dumb things people say' recent thread that is moving here with a health warning!
If you are feeling sensitive please don't read this thread as you may feel offended.... and we need a place to say what we need to say without worrying about offending people so you have been warned!!!!
This is for those of us who cope by being irreverent and silly and able to laugh at all the bad stuff. If you want to get the idea, read the last few pages of dumb things people say, I might see if I can cut and paste a few over to get us going....
In the meantime,
Sunny, you had me laughing my head off this morning with that image of you sitting there in your underwear, chocolate mouth etc!! I think it would have been hilarious if you had answered the door and invited them in.... they certainly would have needed oxygen by the time they got back down the speed they would have run away....!
Magel, how do they find us?? I live up a very steep hill in a very remote area and they made it up the hill to us too..... mind you, they were so out of breath they couldn't speak... almost felt sorry for them!
Can't remember what else we were on about as I can't see the last post anymore but lets continue here with the laughs and anyone new, feel free to join in.
Looking forward to hearing from you

I took this today, when I had a bit of energy this morning and wanted to take Seren for a walk to celebrate her surviving being run over, and grabbed my brolly and my camera, and look what was waiting for us ... :)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Lovely pic!
Glad Seren is up to a walk after her experience, and it looks as though it was a lovely day.
Now I suppose you have snow for Deri!
Love and cwtches,
Odin xxx
Ooh lots to catch up on!
Shiny things from Tiffanys - I've never been there!! Has anyone ever seen the movie breakfast at tiffany's?? Do you know what they have engraved on the ring? Sorry totally random question but just thought of it
LM are you really having kittens?? Well done on your solo!!! Hope todays goes ok and that you have back up clothes if needed.
I might fight you all for gluttony as I love cake too.
Tim - hope your virus has gone. The bloke in the bed opposite Tom in the surgical ward kept drinking Guiness, I think the doctors even endorsed it, so maybe it does have restorative powers??
Hilary - I'd quite like a colourful mini dyson too, but I think if I said that Tom might just get me that and no fun things so shhhh. ... hope your back is feeling better, have you tried an electric heat pad? My mum used to get a bad back from a slipped disc and that helped her xxx
Love the rainbow pic Cariad and so glad your dog is ok.... its started snowing here this morning, I hope it doesn't stick
Nina is doing brilliantly, she seems to be getting into a routine with her nebuliser and afterwards she wolfs down her food and even tries to steal ours!
Today is my last day at work before I start my new job in the new year wooooooo. 2 weeks off - can't wait! Just been given a leaving card and some chocolates and one of those Xmas plant thingys, I can't remember what they are called
Also have a check up with the oncologist this afternoon. I really really hope that its not a nothing appointment and that they finally arrange for scans of Tom's head and neck and chest. Hope that the blood clot in his brain is gone and he can finally stop the injections and look for a job and we can go on a honeymoon!!!
Hugs and spoons and cadburys heros to everyone (guess what they bought me)

Ooh ooh ooh, not been on Warped in a while but noticed LM's post about the Bristol Stool Scale! I've had it in my photobucket since 2004!!!!! I'll see if i can do a direct link, if not I'll do it the other way. I've always been interested in poo.

Yay! It worked! I think it was the IMG code?
By the way, I was stood in a shop yesterday and wondered why they had Oh Oh Oh in bright jelly, glittery letters on their window. Then I realised it was to be read from outside, doh!
Ha haaaaa Thanks, Lesley! That's the very one :) It might do for a few Christmas presents...
Actually my brother is also interested in poo (nothing to do with cancer) Maybe he might like one instead of the ps3 game ha haaa. A lot cheaper. Think I might send him the link to it he heee.
I am so so happy to be in bed :) and no work tomorrow :)
I forgot everything you all said now. ooops. I'm on me hols, I'm on me hols... do dah, doooo daaaah ha haaaaa
Got to go to the post office tomorrow to post my cards and pressies (oops too late I know but the bleedin post office was shut yesterday) then coffee with ems on Tuesday and shiny things to be looked at and possibly bought ha haaa and then Max home on Wednesday, get the tree and food on Thursday, GC check up on Friday and then Chistmas! The swedes celelbrate on Christmas eve so I have double the Christmas. GC had better not spoil that fun packed week... !
Loads of check ups and appointments coming up this week and next... so appendages crossed for all. How are we going to find time to get drunk and eat too much eh? Next week, is Hilary's chemo, Stinker's check up, my check up. I think Cruton has one too? and ems must have something on I'm sure... the week after is me bum ballooning and Odin's check up... Tim needs results too! Might have missed someone, I think Lesley's got hers now.
Anyway, perhaps I should get up... then again... mmmmm lovely bed mmmmmm
Christmas warped mission will be arriving soon... watch out! mwa ha haaaaaa.
Oh and clairdeloon, yes I am getting kittens but not just yet.. need to get the fireplace replaced and carpets fitted first and I think there are not too many about till the spring? But don't worry, there wll be photos galore and lots of highpitched eeeeeeeeeeeee squeels from certain corners...! :)
I want a satnav, camera, new nintendo ds and professor layton game for Christmas. Is it wrong to buy myself all of them now? :) Well, my brother, aunt and P have already got me stuff... I need the satnav to find the new hospital bum ballooning doc is at, I need a camera to take photos to show my family how delighted I am at their presents and the ds, well, the game will keep me out of mischief which will save on bail money etc... eh?
Oh and Trollbeads... there is a Midgard Serpent bead and a thor's hammer bead. Daaaaadsy, she whined, can I have a serpent bead for Christmaaaaaaas? ha haaaa.
I got a catalogue yesterday. Left it lying open and P fell into the trap... he saw it, had a look and i said Oh I discovered they do a serpent bead too! He said You'll have to see what Father Christmas brings... hahaaaaaaa shiny things! :)
Hugs and spoons all round xxxxx
Sorry, I deleted the title and then forgot to add the new one in! How boring... Here you go...

Ooh lots of appointments coming up - did our consultants want to be especially nice to us in the festive season? Yep I have some too, having rituximab every Wednesday. Well, why not eh?
Yay for coffee and shiny things day :))
I've been to Deri's Christingle this evening , which is always cute :)
And am now off to dye B's hair, so wish us both luck!

Morning Warpers. I actually fell asleep this morning! Which means my ambitious plans of finishing my sorting and tidying haven't started yet. Ah well, it's not going anywhere.
My next Onc appointment isn't until February. I think I'm just waiting for a letter from Trials as well. I think if I go onto Trials I don't get to see her either? That will be a relief for her! lol.
