 The best thing on TV?

When did you last take some time for a little relaxation, distraction, or escapism? TV shows, movies, and games can all provide a much-needed break from our worries. But with all of that choice out there, where do you start?

Sometimes the hardest part of relaxing in front of the telly is actually finding something you'd like to watch. This is a discussion thread for talking about your go-to entertainment choices. It might be an old favourite, or a recent discovery. If you enjoy it, it's worth talking about.

  • TV Shows :- I don't tend to watch much TV.(I do watch too much sport!) I do however catch "The Chase" the quiz show most evenings

Strangely gripping quiz show, isn't it! Also I do find Brad hilarious. If you've never looked up Chase bloopers on YouTube, you're missing out!

What are your thoughts on House of Games, ? I love the 'answer smash' round. It's basically punning which as you might imagine, is right up my street.

    All the best,
    Matthew

  • Hello Matthew (

A quick reply in the middle of half time - Monday Night Football.

No House of Games isn't my bag - I think it was Richard Osman - the presenter, sadly not for me. The older I get the less TV I watch and the more reading I do.

    Kind regards - Brian.

  • Hill Street Blues... the best cop series ever. In my opinion.

Millibob it's available on Channel 4 streaming service.

  • Hello

Oh, thanks for that. I will give it a good dose of looking at. Hill Street Blues had everything but most of the time it was leading you on trying to guess what came next as sometimes there were 3/4 sub plots going on too!

Thanks for the tip - Thumbsup.

    Best wishes - Brian.
