  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and although I've had different cancer diagnoses to you I know how horrible going through tests and then waiting for results can be.

The online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the cervical cancer group as you'll then connect directly with others who understand what you're going through.

To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

    Wishing you all the best

  • Id like to delete my post and my username and leave the forum please

  • I feel like I'm overwhelmed and dont think I can actually talk about it but thankyou anyway , I'm too anxious

  • I can remember how overwhelmed I felt when first going through my diagnosis but I found the support of other members here really helpful as they had been where I was and could offer support.

The community is completely anonymous so you can say as much or as little as you want to without the worry of anyone knowing who you are. However, if you feel that the Community is not for you at the moment then you'll need to email the moderators at community@macmillan.org.uk  and ask them to delete your post and account. This link gives you more information about doing that.

    Sending virtual ((hugs))
