  • Hi  and welcome to the chat group.

I’m sorry there was no-one around to chat to last night when you posted. The best place to find other nightowls who can’t sleep is in this thread

    Awake and up all night

People chat there about all sorts at all times of the day and night, and you’d be very welcome to join in-they are a lovely group.

I see you’ve already joined the head and neck cancer group, and that’s where you’ll find people with exactly the same type of cancer and treatment. It’s a good place to post where others will understand exactly how you’re feeling and know what you’re going through. Please post there any time and someone will respond to you when they see it. It’s a very active group.

The worry when waiting for results is completely understandable, but I hope once you get more information on Monday it will help you to have a plan going forward, I know I found it easier when I did, and lots of people feel the same.

  • Hey Wave the wait between scans and things is absolute mental torture but o keep telling myself this is a temporary moment in time which can never be repeated again.  I cannot wait to look back on all of thMuscle although it feels very out of reach just now but we've got this Muscle

  • Hi

I notice you have made a couple of posts in the general chat group but haven’t joined any of our cancer support groups yet.

In addition to posting in the general chat which is great for connecting with others, you may also want to join one of the support groups where you can meet up with others who have the same type of cancer and/or treatment and surgery. They can understand exactly what you’re going through.

I think you’ve said you are having brain surgery (sorry, I can’t immediately find your post) but if you want to provide a bit more information, I can link you up with the right group for support.
