Hey so I am 3 weeks from finishing my anal cancer treatment a mixture of radio and chemo, apart from the general fatigue and the odd infection everything is heading in the right direction, however I am getting a constant burning liquid coming out of my anus that is truly horrific, I have a stoma bag and I am used to the usual mucus but this burning mucus that is thicker is horrible , is anyone else suffering from this? My specialist is telling me it’s normal but it’s like hell!

I had a different type of cancer, and have stomas, but I don’t have experience of the horrible mucus you’re having. Howeverwe have a group for support especially with stomas which is here
