My mum has myeloma and is waiting for treatment to begin. I'm so upset about this. I can't stop thinking about her dying. We are very close and i can't get this thought out of my head. Ive spoken to 4 different helplines today. None of them really worked for me. I really want positivity. My mum is 80 and very fit and healthy for her age. All ive done for most of today is cry.
Hi Rojam sorry to hear about your mum….. I have been on my blood cancer journey for over 25 years with 2 very rare and hard to treat types of Non Hodgkins Lymphoma……. so I understand the journey well but the best way to understand Myeloma is to talk with others who have lived experience.
So I recommend you join our dedicated…..
…. suppprt group and put up a post in the group and talk with people who understand.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
