Hi everyone, I’m Wayne from the Online Community team.
Living alone with cancer can affect everything from the care you receive to the emotional support you need.
We wanted to create a Community space that reflects the realities of living alone with cancer and the ways people have supported themselves through different stages. We’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts.
If you feel comfortable sharing, it would be helpful to hear:
Thank you in advance for sharing your experience and support. If you have any questions, would like to be a guest blogger to share your individual story, or need additional support, please email community@macmillan.org.uk and we will be happy to help.
Best Wishes
Wayne (he/him)

Hello Lostgirl_dreamscapes
Number 1 daughter has a couple of horses. I spent years taking the things (daughter as well) to show jumping, dressage, cross country etc i even ended up fence judging at cross country events - the best thing ever was when she passed her trailer test and now tows the things around herself.
Enjoy your walk in the morning - yes life is good. xx
Best wishes - Brian.

Oh wow Millibob I had my own boy 20 years. Lost him a 2 years ago in November. Used to jump and dressage with him too but best of all was hacking out for hours chatting to him. If he could talk, i would have been in trouble
Friend has a couple of miniature Shetlands which are my favourites. Thank you though and thank you for taking the time to talk.

Hi Everyone
Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing?
As the clocks are going back this weekend and the days are getting shorter, I'm conscious of whether it will affect my wellbeing. Does anyone have any tips or activities that they plan over the winter months to help with their wellbeing?
Best Wishes,
Wayne

Medical science is still working wonders, but still no option of eating lots of cake then hibernating until April. Music helps me to while away the darker hours.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
