  1. I am sole carer for dying partner..I'm trying to keep farm going daily whilst vertuly looking after partner 24 hours a day I'm exhausted..and struggling to physically lift help partner from bed to commode and keep on top of all his medication why won't he understand he could get professional help and round the clock care if he agreed to be somewhere else..
  • Hi

It sounds like you're going through a very difficult time right now and I can understand why you'd want your partner to have professional help.

It might be an idea to post this message in the carers only group, where I can see you've posted before, as you'll then connect directly to others who will have been in a similar situation to you.

    Sending virtual ((hugs))

  • To start a new post in the carers group, you just do exactly the same as you did here, ie go to the carers group, select the '+New' button, give your post a title, post in the main body and then select post.

You can find step-by-step instructions here.

    I hope that helps
