Anyone else finding rhe insomnia (from various cancer related things) is driving them crazy?! I seem to see 3am most nights at the moment and no matter what i do i can't sleep!

  • I appreciate your response and thank you for sharing your experience. Can I ask if you’re on chemo alone or chemoimmunotherapy? My best wishes to you on every respect. Heart️

  • Hi  and welcome to the Macmillan community.

I’m sorry to read you have had such a difficult diagnosis but I hope you will find it very helpful to get support through Maggie’s. I also wanted to let you know about other groups in the community that you might find helpful. One is the womb group I recommended in a previous reply to another member and the link is here

    Womb Cancer Forum

If you click on the link, you can join the group by clicking on the black banner going across the page and make a new post to introduce yourself.

If you are having difficulties sleeping, we have a thread in the general chat group where you can talk with others who are having the same issue, and the link is here

    Awake and up all night

We do have a special group, only for patients who are incurable, and you would be able to speak to others there with different cancers but who are all facing the same type of diagnosis. This is the link

    Living with incurable cancer

I hope you’ll find it helpful to be part of our community, where you can make new friends and gain advice and support.

  • Hi I’m on chemo ( Paclitaxel and carboplatin) plus immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab. I’m stage 4C. Chemo has significantly reduced the tumours, which has made such a difference to my breathing.

  • Similar to me except immunotherapy is dorlimab (?). Pleased to hear you notice a difference.
Are you going to be put on maintenance immunotherapy? Take care and thanks for getting back to me.
