Alone at night and worrying

  • Hi

I’m sorry-I haven’t been on this medication so don’t have any experience I can share unfortunately. As I suggested in another post, the best people to help is your medical team and failing that, to go to PALS to see if they can help you get answers since I know you’ve said you are having issues getting replies to your messages.

  • Hi

You can send details privately to another member by requesting to be friends.

Click on their name, and look at the top right of the page for a button “+connect” and.the person will get a notification saying they’ve had a friendship request and if they are happy to accept it, you can message with your personal details-email/phone number and be in contact with others that way?

  • Thanks Sarah. Most helpful.

  • I am having problems with sleeping. Feel totally wrecked

  • Hi Salty Sally, and a warm welcome to the forum from me, I was so sorry to read about your recent diagnosis, and understand how difficult the early days were emotionally, going through tests and waiting for results and treatments being especially hard for most of us, but things will get a little better once treatments start and you start fighting back against this awful disease, and sadly poor sleep is familiar to many, and there's lots of advice and suggestions to help with getting a better night's sleep, whether it's stress, medication, or pain keeping you awake my friend, on this, the cancer chat forum is a the, Awake and up all night, thread, where you will find a wonderful group of people who, at times, share your sleeping problems, and will be happy to chat to you at any time of day. My very best wishes for your results my friend.
