Awake and up all night

I went round our local lake this afternoon and the bluebells were out

Love that.

We were bonkers parents too, but the kids have grown into adults I'm proud of.

When we played Supermarket Sweep they weren't nippers, but fully grown teenagers! Both as crackers as me, they've somehow grown into fine women with responsible jobs and their own houses. I must have done something right xxx

There's just patches of bluebells scattered in the wood Gill. It's only a small wood but it's been my saviour as it's only a 5 minute walk from home. The round trip from door to door, round the lake and wood is only 45 minutes but it's just enough at the moment xx

That sounds like the ideal walk. We walk to the top of Lightcliffe and then up the sheep field and down past Priestley Green. About an hour all in all, but like you say, enough at the moment.

I'm so glad you've got a lovely, peaceful place to walk sweetheart. Just think how much more you'll love it when the sun's shining too.

You could always cut it a bit shorter if you're tired - especially when the steroids haven't got you stuck to the ceiling!

Some lovely pictures here tonight. I've just remembered - it would have been my mam's birthday today and a bold little robin appeared in our garden this morning. I was thrilled and wished him a happy birthday xxx
