Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Ray, I loved punk in my younger days, amongst other genre's, thanks to Thursday nights at a club in town which put on so many different groups, at first I thought very little of it, but the "dancing," and atmosphere was fab, and occasionally a group came along which stood out and it grew on me.
I have a few memory issues, so often unless prompted I have little recollection of many things, so my punk days were I thought history, well I like a massage, nothing like that Gilly before you say anything, and have 1 sometimes 2 most weeks, it must be for 30+ years now, anyway I was talking to one of my masseurs who I've been going to for 20 years and who is autistic, about this club, and it turns out she was a regular at the same time as me.
Ooh I'll read this to my fella in the morning Ray, and see if he recognises the bands or names. I'll get back to you on that. He's six years younger than me so that probably influences our differing tastes in music.
I'm going to try for some shuteye now, so thanks for the chat and I'll wish you a good sleep yourself xxx
Gets a bit boring being awake, maxim on Netflix etc.
True. I got shot of my TV several years ago. Most of my entertainment is now provided by the 'net, often on you tube.
Hi Wil and welcome. I've told myself to get to sleep but it's not happening yet. I've got Netflix but not watched Maxim - is it any good? xx
