Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Evening Maria ️
Think we're all having site problems hon, and Sky's going bonkers here as well.
Sorry about your anxiety over upcoming scans and we've got the same, so I know how you feel sweetheart. Wishing you only the very best for future results xx
I'm checking out for tonight hon, as my heart's not really in it and beggaring about with posting isn't helping.
I'll say night and hoping you manage to get some rest xxx
I feel your anger. At the moment there are technical issues with the site so responses may be delayed or not visible for a while.
If you mean how does chat work... the same as other forums. However everyone here has their own health and care issues which means we may not be around when you need us most.
There is a thread for venting your anger but I am unable to give you the title right now.
Cheers

Hello Mariab, the forum differs from other forums that I'm familiar with but as I'm not on mainstream social media I don't know if this one shares any characteristics. I had to study the guidelines and rules when I joined nearly 3 years ago. If you click on the link below, it will give you some idea of how it all works:
As Gill said, there are a few glitches which are being investigated. It may work better once these have been fixed. Welcome to the 'Awake and up all night' sub forum of the general Cancer Chat forum. There are numerous other forums on the website dealing with specific cancers. Best wishes. xx
If this makes it to the board Shims, I'll say nyt hon, as I've got Sky to muck about with now!
A venting thread? With swearing allowed? I'm game as that's my forte
Sweet and hopefully pain free dreams pet. Try and get some in xxx ️
Hi would you believe the thread is called
Angry and fed up
You can search for it. Not sure anyone will be around in the dark but a good place to say how you really feel.
So often we feel we have to be calm or strong for others. Or we are not given to being emotional.
Have you found anything that helps you currently?
Cheers
Nyt hun. Hope you find a good film or other distraction to help you reset.
Have these too
